The Kiasu-est Order of All

Fortunate in the sense that alot of my buyers are now my buddies. Which is good since I get to enlarge my circle of friends.
And then there are people who ask for discounts, ask for free shipping (which aren't that big a deal) and there are people who write in to ask for an item to be sent to them FREE. Can you beat that?
And as you can see from the order above, there is someone who recently checked out from Cyberpartygal's WebStore with only all the freebies. I wonder if she even read the terms of the freebies or not. Should I laugh or cry? Her order has been trashed and I have told her not to deposit the shipping charge of MYR8.50 to me. Well, if she does, I guess I'm gonna forfeit her. MYR8.50 is good enough as processing fee. Don't you think so? -.-"

It's been approximately 2.5 weeks since I last updated this blog. I admit, Me BAD! I have finished listing new arrivals on Cyberpartygals' WebStore. There are over 60 new items and besides lingerie, there are some gift items too.

Customs Red Tape
Yesterday, I received a letter from the Customs Department telling me to take my invoice to the office to claim my parcel.
It's not that I mind paying tax for the items but they are only open from Monday ~ Friday from 8.30am till 12.30pm. OK, so I'm not sure if they're open on Saturdays or not, as I did not bother to find out.
Nowadays, it's better not to expect anything to get done on Saturdays what with the first and third Saturdays off for most Government departments.
It's confusing, isn't it? As if all we ever think of is which week that Saturday falls on.
Anyway, there'll be a slight delay in claiming my parcel. Do they think that their customers are all housewives and children who need not clock in to work or big shots who can leave the office any time they want?
*shake head*

Incorporating the Boards
Apart from the Forum Board, eBay also has an Answer Center which I feel is redundant. eBay should just incorporate the two of them and separate idle chatting or fun threads from serious questions like a professional forum board.
Speaking of which, they should also incorporate local Groups into the Forum.
Right now, just to access these boards, we have to go to three different pages, and Bookmark three URLs as well, which is a mess. Moreover, having loooong unfriendly URLs don't help at all.
This is one of the main reasons why I spend so little time surfing eBay's Board, what more a newbie who will have a hard time finding, let alone, surfing to all three places.
I'm all for having a one-stop-center kinda Board.

What Happened to LYN's Johnny Con-Boy?
Suddenly, I recall the con case which happened on Lowyat.net Forum during Chinese New Year, 2006. I also blogged on it HERE.
Shockingly, it's already eight looooong months, and from Johnny's Trade Thread on LYN, the victims aren't doing much to nab this con-boy (take a look at his age!)
Perhaps these victims are in private discussions among themselves, since Johnny con-boy may still be lurking around with a new ID.
But come on, they have the name and address, and made numerous police reports, and what action did the authorities take? There's none that I could see, sad to say.
The enthusiasm of the victims in getting back their angpow money also seem to have died down already.
Johnny con-boy could now be "plying his trade" somewhere else. If issues like these are are not nipped in the bud, then we'll be hearing more of such con cases now and then.

eBay Blogs

Well, not much difference in the length and neither is especially easier or more difficult to remember.
From the eBay blogs that I surfed, I don't find them especially interesting, and I don't think template customisation is allowed. So, after awhile, it gets BORING, unfortunately.
Better stick to Blogspot hehehe

I've Been Bad ...
.... because I haven't been updating my WebStore. Feel abit guilty for it, and it reflects laziness, which is untrue although the last time it was updated was in late March, 2006. It's now the beginning of September already. How time flies *gasp*
I also did not update my store front in conjunction with Merdeka Day. It was only ONE miserable day, after all *sigh* Don't we wish to have a longer break now and then?
I guess I got myself side-tracked by the RobertChai.com project. Thought of bringing some fun to the Malaysian blogosphere but we've had criticisms here and there which made me lose precious sleep but at the same time, this project has gained me some great friends too. Thank you guys, for the wonderful camaderie.
And I've also received words of encouragement from absolute strangers telling us to persevere in the face of adversity. That really made my day.
Anyway, I promise to work harder in displaying my upcoming stocks on Cyberpartygal's WebStore as soon as possible. If time permits, I'll pull another pre-order. Otherwise, I'll just do a preview in this blog one of these days, so stay tuned.
And I'd like to end my post here today with a big shout out to my friend, KK, who, as far as I know, is the only person who reads this blog regularly. Thank you for your loyalty hahah!
