I read a case where an eBay member has his account hacked. The hacker bought a t-shirt that has the word "HACKED" and the joker changed the BIN price of an item from a three figure price to RM10 ONLY.
I think that this is a very serious breach in security. This member said that he did not click on any link that came in phishing emails and that he is the only one who has access to his eBay account user ID and password. He said that he is on dial up internet access and he is the only one who uses the computer at home.
One really wonders how his account could he accessed by hackers and the only think that comes up is that the main database on eBay's server has been hacked. Or has it not?
We, members of eBay Malaysia, seriously would like to seek clarification on this case.
