A few months ago, I wrote about the UMPC by Asus called EEEPC and said that I am waiting for it. I have news that it is released already and selling at less than RM2000. Well, I read that it is only a little more than USD200 when they launched in Hong Kong.
When I wrote that post, I was really waiting for it but after a lapse of time, I have an iPhone now and I wonder if I SHOULD still get it. My main concern, about getting a UMPC is its processor speed. It's all fine and dandy if it is small and ultra portable but if it is slow, I ask you, "WHATEVER FOR??"
Having an iPhone is also good enough, except that my only gripe is that it does not support 3G, let alone 3.6G. Arghhh! I think I will wait a little while and see if new users have issues with the speed, features and functions.
