A friend, who is a customer or RHB, told me that he is unable to perform internet transactions because RHB has suspended this service for the time being. Since I do not have an account with them, I do not know about it and am unable to cross check.
According to my friend, RHB is forced to do so for security reasons after many customers had their internet account User ID or password compromised from clicking on links in a phishing mail.
This happened when RHB was supposed to tighten their internet accounts by asking their customers to change their password to an alphanumeric one. Scammers took this opportunity to send out phishing mail purportedly from the bank and that confused some RHB customers.
I hope that no one loses any money from this!
