Have you noticed that the USD was really depressed a couple of day ago? If I remember correctly, USD1 was only MYR3.29. That's a terrible rate for those of us who are earning USD but a good rate for people who are spending USD.
Yesterday, the USD rebounded to a more respectable (to me) 3.35 ahh... just in time for my USD to clear. It's thanks to the Hari Raya holiday on Thursday that delayed my clearance hence I managed to obtain a higher currency exchange rate.
I was told that the Ringgit with be traded at a higher rate before the general election but would be adjusted to true market value after that. *ahem* I am waiting for the true rate!
