A couple of months ago, I was having problems with the power factor in my house. I don't know what happened that caused my main power to trip ever so often. A friend told me that I should get a Universal Power Supply (UPS) or some people may call that "back up power". I procrastinated because I did not have time to scout around for the right brand, product and price.
When my power trips and my computer restarted, causing me to lose my work that I have been working on, I complaint and my friend said that I should stop complaining and just get those dang UPS!
I did get two units in the end since we have two computers at home, after I could no longer tolerate the frequent trips. By then one of my computers crashed and had to get a format.
However, now that everything has been set up fine, I am glad that I have the UPS because just today alone, my main power tripped more than five times. I cannot imagine how super frustrated I would be should I lose my work over and over again!
