Audio Resume Helped

My friend had been looking for a job for almost ten months without success. He searched all the job boards online and was called to attend a few interviews but was successful.

His mother had earlier told him about Audio Resume but he was skeptical. He decided to see how it works after facing one disappointment after another.

He had to create an account with Audio Resume and then dial a toll-free number and answer five short general interview questions.

He was then given a unique URL where he forwarded to prospective employers who can then access to listen to his audio resume.

He found a job soon after. He told me that he felt like kicking himself for not trying this out earlier!

1st February, 2007

This is an advanced notice.

Kindly take note that there shall be no shipping on Thursday, 1st February, 2007. That is because Pos Malaysia's postal service will be taking a break for Thaipusam in most states in Malaysia while Kuala Lumpur will be celebrating Federal Territory (FT) Day.

However, as always
Cyberpartgal's WebStore will be open. We always are haahaa! We do not take any break at all.

Now, what does one wish another person on Thaipusam and FT Day? The only thing I can think of is "HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!"

Shipping resumes on Firday, 2nd February, 2007 and break for the weekend on 3rd and 4th February.

P/S: If you are looking for Valentine's lingerie, you know you can find them on Cyberpartygal's WebStore!

Explanation on Credit Reports

My friend Paul told me that in the United States, a credit report is very important. Things like cars and houses are so expensive there that it is almost impossible to buy anything with cash, unless he is Bill Gates or Donald Trump. He should know, having lived in the United States for over 15 years!

I asked him as I was curious about the
Credit Report since there isn't any such thing in Malaysia, well, at least not that I know of.

Paul said that unlike in Malaysia where there are quite a number of people buying used or even new cars with cash, it is not the case in America. Most of the cars and homes are paid for on installment plans, so financial organizations and any company that is considering giving us a loan will need to look at our credit report to determine our credit worthiness. Can we repay that loan and in what quantum and how long do we need? These are some of the questions that can be addressed with a good credit report.

I do not know how accurate a credit report is. I read that one could score higher in the credit test if he knows how. And I am sure that having too many credit cards can harm our credit worthiness too!

Also, there are companies that give out free credit report. It can be done online too. However, some people prefer to pay for them. Well, I am sure no matter if we paid for it or if it is free makes no difference to our credit worthiness!

In any case, I am told that sometimes there will be error on the report and if this happens, we have to alert the company who made the report as soon as possible to have it corrected.

Baby Gifts @ The Nest

I came across this unique baby gift shop called The Nest today. It has a very cute layout and neat. I like it that one could easily navigate the webstore and buy baby gifts by sorting the items by age, gender, price, event or category.

The Nest carries such a wide and varied array of baby gifts and offers over 200 baby gifts that can be personalized that I couldn't even finish browsing through all the items even after spending more than an hour at the webstore.

Buying baby gifts, personalized ones, no less, need not be a pricey affair. Save more with a 10% discount coupon when you sign up at The Nest Baby Shop to receive special offers.

Online Car Classifieds

Recently, my pal was looking for Used Cars. He was undecided what model to get and he was a little financially tight. I suggested to him to search for online car classifieds so that he will have a general idea what is the going rate for the various car models and year of production.

Off we went on Lemonfree.com to look for a Cadillac Escalade, his first choice.

One thing that has turned my pal off from online car classifieds is the overload of information but with Lemonfree.com, the whole site is refreshing. It is a used car and truck classifieds website that is easy to navigate and there are even reviews of the various models.

eBay University

If you have been following my blog, you would have read that two eBay PowerSellers are teaching people in the Klang Valley on how to trade on eBay. Well, one of them was interviewed in the papers recently. She is a certified eBay educationist.

She mentioned that she took up the course online from eBay University, hence making her the first Malaysian with this certification. That's why her courses are so damn expensive lah ....

Anyway, her article got my curious and off I checked out
eBay University. Well, for people like me who tries to get the best without much capital layout, eBay University offers free courses ad even tutorials. Of course, we will not be issued a certification. But heck, it's not as if we want to make a living out of that certificate, right?

A little knowledge goes a long way. Free courses don't mean lower quality.

If you too want to be an eBay Education Specialist teaching all the courses of eBay, your total course fee is only less than US1000. You'd have to renew on the second year at about $250 annually. Do note that eBay has the right to revise rates at any time.

eSmart Tax Software

Paul, my Malaysian friend who has an architect and designer firm in New York City, told me that there are many skilled Spanish speaking people in America. When he first arrived to the United States and started hiring Spanish speaking people to work for him, most of whom are illiterate, he had to pay accountants to file in taxes for his workers.

Recently, he was delighted to discover that he can file taxes for them by himself with the help of the workers thanks to the new
Spanish Tax Software.

It is a very smart software with clear instructions and easy navigation which enables Paul to switch from English to Spanish and vice versa, which he will do whenever he is not familiar with certain Spanish words.

He is very satisfied with the software and there is no more correcting errors manually. Moreover, this is a software that has been tried and tested by the United States Inland Revenue Service so he knows that filing with the eSmart Tax online tax software is an approved format.

Besides, there are so many free features that comes with the software, like free efile, free resubmission and until 15th of October, 2007, there is free printing as well. All the prices are already listed upfront on the website and they are very reasonable and no surprises.

What Paul likes the most about the software is that he can easily recreate three different tax scenarios for his workers so that he can find the lowest taxable amount. He told me that his workers who aren't earning that much, are very thankful that they could save that little bit of tax money. And Paul, a good employer, feels that a little money invested into the software is well worth it if he can make the workers less financially burdened.

Who Tried To Sabo Me?

Well, today I'm quite surprised that someone who visited my blog clicked on some of my contextual ads consecutively. I know not who, of course, but the low traffic coupled with high clicks don't augur well for my site.

Want me to get banned meh? Who is that so bad wan?

Don't play oh... you know I need this money and can't afford to get banned, right?

So whoever you are, thank you for visiting my blog, thank you for reading. I appreciate your presence. Leave me a comment if you will but please do not sabo me la. Bad karma begets bad karma.

Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend

Recently, a male friend who is about to be engaged to his long time girlfriend wanted to know if a diamond ring is that important to a girl. I don't know his girlfriend that well, but generally, which girl doesn't like a diamond ring to show off once in awhile, right?

He asked me what type of
diamond engagement rings he should select from. I may not be an expert in diamonds, but I know enough to tell him to look out for the 5Cs; namely, Cost, Carat, Color, Clarity and Cut.

Since this is supposed to be for his engagement ring, I suggested him to get a heart shaped diamond. It symbolises a lot of things and could mean everlasting love and that he has given his heart to her.

I feel that it could be a single most meaningful diamond that he could give her. Forget about roses, forget about chocolates. Those never last and memories will fade.

Is a diamond forever? Yes I think it is. Love may come and go, but a diamond will always be true to us. The bigger, the better.

That's why there is a saying that goes, "Diamonds are a girl's best friend!"

The 7 Habits of Highly Ineffective Internet Marketers

A couple of days ago, I came across this article that outlines what makes or breaks an internet marketer.

Well, if you are trying to be a successful internet marketer, you should read on. Even if you are already successful NOW, it is always good to remind yourself and check that you do not slide into bad habits that may hurt your business.

1. The Habit of Jumping
The need to jump around like a jumping bean ... sticking to one business idea for at least six months and seeing it through to completion.

2. The God Habit
Every successful business serves a Target Market, a very specific type of customer. Your Target Market can’t be “humans that breathe.”

3. Habit of Blinding Love
People think they should just do what they love and let the money come. You have to link the activity you love to the world of business.

4. The Habit of False Idols
Don’t listen to someone because they’re great at getting your attention. Make sure they can prove paradise exists because they have been there.

5. Tomorrow Habit
You can go for success now or do it tomorrow

6. Sheepish Habit
The world is full of plain, brown shoes, why are you deciding to open a plain, brown shoe store?
Go against the grain and get noticed. Fall into line and you just might fall into oblivion.

7. Alzheimer’s Habit
Forgetting your customers after they say ‘yes’ to you and forgetting potential customers when they say ‘no’ to you. It’s never OK to forget them – always follow-up
It’s not over once they buy from you. It’s just the beginning. It’s not over when they refuse to buy from you. It’s just the beginning. So capture their emails, plan for the follow-up and don’t forget!

In short, you have to find a niche for your products with a specific target market (the best is if it is a product range that you love to sell), don't sell common stuff, do not procrastinate and always follow up with your buyers and potential buyers; i.e. the people who made enquiries!

OK, I KNOW I'm doing some right, but others need a bit of a brushing up, especially difficult when I'm so hard pressed for time.

Are We Seeing The PayPal Light?

Some of us in Malaysia are seeing the PayPal debit card link in our accounts. However, when we try to apply for it, an error message pops up.... it is said to be a system bug.

Well, is this the feature that was promised to us last year at the eBay Explained KL 2006?

Right now, eligibility is said to be as follows.

Eligibility: At this time, the PayPal MasterCard ATM/Debit Card (the "Debit Card" "ATM/Debit Card" or the "Card") is offered to U.S. and, in limited circumstances, select non-U.S. PayPal users only. Users that are offered a debit card will need to complete the following application requirements, if they have not already done so:

1. Have been a PayPal member for at least 60 days

2. Have registered a credit card where the monthly statement is sent to a physical street address (not a P.O. Box). PayPal will only mail the Debit Card to this address; periodic statements and transaction information will be available on the PayPal website and not by mail.

3. Have linked a bank account to their PayPal account and verified control of the bank account

4. Have opened or upgraded to a Premier or Business account

5. Upon review by our Account Review department are deemed as being an active member in good standing within the PayPal community.

Errr excuse me, but I have linked my PayPal to a debit card and it is not linked to a bank account. So for people like me, can we apply for the Paypal debit card?

I hope so, I pray so. It would make life so much easier!

However, the User Agreement of Paypal credit/debit card still states the following:

Non-U.S. and U.S. Territory Availability: The PayPal ATM/Debit Card is available only to U.S. members with an address in the 50 states, and select Canadian users. Over time, PayPal intends to make cards available to select users residing outside the U.S. or in U.S. territories.

Replenishing Office Supplies

Since the beginning of the year, my company has given me a new duty, that is to stock up the office's stationery and supplies, including printer toner cartridge, ink and reams of paper for the printer and fax machine, paper and ribbon, for the cash register and credit card.

Well, it is extra work for me, but the boss said that I am one of their best shoppers. I always managed to find them the best prices. Maybe it's because I spend too much time online?

For my office supplies, I came across and have decided to go with Office Supply Outfitters. This is a premier supplier of office supplies and they sell the best brands around at very competitive prices.

It fits my company requirements very well. The management would like to cut down on cost, and yet retain the quality of using same brand supplies. That we have to buy HP ink for our HP printer and so on. This is to upkeep the standard of our company. I fully understand it.

Anyway, I managed to stock up my office supplies via Office Supply Outfitters. It was a seamless shopping experience and I paid for everything for my company credit card.

New Radio Experience

Those who know me know that I am a radio junkie. Heck, how many girls do you know who listens to the shortwave radio? Not many, I guess!

I am going expose you to a whole new radio listening experience.

On 25th January, 2007,
Nology Interactive, an interactive and IT consulting company joined forces with Chicago's WSCR 670 The Score, in conjunction with The Score's 15th anniversary, created Chicago radio history with a 12-hour live webcast and streamed exclusively on www.670thescore.com

During the 12-hour broadcast, veterans from The Score like Mike North, Mike Murphy, Terry Boers and Doug Buffone will take turns to host programs with special appearances of guests.

It was very exciting and eye opening for fans of WSCR 670 The Score.

The Amazing Goji Berry

I was first introduced to Goji berry by a friend who is into organic food and health products. She travels a lot and is exposed to many things that are not avaialbe locally. One day, she brought me a bottle of Goji Berry Juice and asked me to try it out.

I was amazed that after taking it for a couple of days, I felt more energetic and less sleepy! People who know me know that I sleep a lot hahah!

Moreover, I also felt that my appetite and overall digestive system had improved. I wasn't expected that so it was a pleasant surprise.

Since it was so good, I shared it with my family members.
Goji Juice is said to be the single food source that is most nutritionally dense in the world.

Goji berry juice also promotes healthy joints, regulate blood pressure, strengthen immune system and improve general metabolism because of its richness in naturally occurring minerals and amino acids.

My family members all reported improved general health.

Isn't it surprising that these small berries can contain so many nutrients? I am stll in wonderment.

I am confident that with long term consumption of goji berry juice, we all will benefit much from the goji berry.

Unearthing Hidden eBay Listings

Now, how do you find the cheapest of cheap eBay auctions, auctions that many people could not find because the buyer has misspelt the brand name. These hidden listings almost never have any bidders because people can't find them! Therefore, imagine the low, low price you can win an item because you are smart to use the best search engine on earth. This smart search engine is called SlashMySearch.com

I tried it out using various popular brand names and found SlashMySearch.com really did render me better results than what I could find on eBay's search itself.

On the main page, you can see the drop down menu where you can select "eBay Typo". The two entrepreneurs behind SlashMySearch.com also plan to have a similar typo search for Amazon.

It is amazing that Sellers can be the one typing in a wrong spelling in his listings but a Buyer will most probably key in the correct spelling in his search.

The vain me searched my own online nickname and there were so many sites that SlashMySearch managed to dig out where Google, Yahoo! and MSN failed. I know, I tried all these major search engines. Didn't I warn you I was vain? ahaha

Buzzmarketing

The other day when I wrote about what the guy who renamed Halfway, Oregon to Half.com, Oregon, the author of Buzzmarking and a professional speaker, me bad, forgot to mention that his name is actually Mark Hughes.

Since I came to know of him, I have been trying to find out where I can buy his Buzzmarketing book. It was said to be one of "The Ten Best Business Reads of 2005" and one of the Best Business Books of the Year. What an achievement.

I couldn't find it in local bookstores so I think I will be purchasing it online when I have enough Paypal funds.

Accident In The Neighborhood

Recently, there was an accident in the neighborhood. It could not be settled amicably and both parties decided to take it to court. If this had happened in New York, Connecticut or New Jersey, I would have recommended them Simmons Jannace & Stagg.

This law firm is one the best. The always try to think outside the box and that have been successful in employing alternative dispute resolution techniques and negotiations for clients.

I believe the two parties need not go to court to settle the case. It does not matter who was right and who was wrong. Both parties came out of it uninjured. There has to be a better way to solve this dispute than going to court. That is why we need people like Simmons Jannace & Stagg!

Win A Custom T-Shirt

In my random surfing last night, I found a really fun contest. It is a FREE Custom T-Shirt Contest. Yes, it's free.

Create a user account with Berda.com and start designing your t-shirt! Every t-shirt design will be put to vote by members and the general public. Voters do not have to register with Berda.com, so you can get just about anyone to come and vote for your masterpiece.

There will be a winner each week; the design with the most votes wins, naturally. So if you want to win, call upon your friends and family to support your design!

The winner will receive a custom short sleeve t-shirt courtesy of Berda.com and the winner can select his choice of size.

Winning t-shirts will only be shipped within America, although participants from around the world are welcomed. So if you do have relations in the US, why not, right?

The best thing is, win or not, you can buy your own t-shirts with your own design and give it to your friends. Of course the price will depend on quantity, color and size so it is not possible to let you know right now how much each t-shirt costs.

You can try to WIN it first, though!

Being Belisi

In a previous post on Belisi, I wrote about one of Belisi's blog on women's fashion called The Divas Dream. A reader asked me, "But what about fashion for men?"

The good news is, Peter
Belisi has another blog on men's fashion, and also women's too, and it is called Being Belisi.

This is the blog where Belisi talks about the latest fashion in simple language and he also dispenses tips on how we too can look like a million dollars without spending an arm or a foot. People used to think that we need a lot of money to put together a polished look, but that isn't true.

I think that Peter Belisi is one of the most innovative designers. He uses his blogs to connect to the people.

Most Popular Cell Phones 2006

I recently had the opportunity to review the list, released almost two weeks ago, of most popular cell phones for 2006 as sold by Wirefly.com, the leader in online comparison shopping for mobile phones and major wireless phone plans.

I am definitely not surprise to find the MotoRAZR by Motorola occupy the top three spots, with Cingular Wireless being the top service provider, followed by T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless.

In Wirefly's prediction of five biggest cell phone trends of 2005, RAZR was predicted to be one of the most popular phones in 2006, and they were on the spot!

Occupying the forth spot is Cingular Sony Ericsson z520a/z525a which is a video phone. Video phones are getting increasingly popular and many of my friends have upgraded from blogging to videoblogging (Vblogging), thanks to the ease of capturing fairly high quality videos from the cell phone.

Motorola's various models occupy fifth to ninth spots. I am again not surprised that Motorola is the preferred brand in America. It is an American brand, after all, and Americans are rather loyal to home brands. Besides, my friends who are die-hard fans of Motorola has told me that this is the phone with the best reception and clarity.

The list of most popular mobile phones sold by Wirefly.com in 2006 is wrapped up by Samsung T309.

I predict that 2007 will continue to see the popularity of the RAZR.

Stop The Scam!

Last week, China Press reported that a Singaporean got caught for selling fake items online. It seems that she bought fake branded items from the night market and sold them at online. She earned about RM2000 per month for 1 year before being caught.

Now, my question is, "Whatever for?!?"

What is the use to earning a quick buck by means of cheating? What is the use of being rich when you can't spend it?

To me, customer satisfaction is very important. Needless to say, I am seeking returning customers but even if a customer has no further desire to purchase from me, I definitely do not want to leave a bad taste in his/her mouth.

I pride myself in giving the best to my customers, and do everything in my power to minimize the hassle of purchasing from me. By placing myself in my Buyer's shoes, I know what worries and concern a Buyer has for committing a certain amount of money to a total stranger. It does not matter if the item is only MYR10 or MYR100, the fact is, it takes a lot of guts to trust someone you do not know, don't even know how she looks like or where she lives and other information.

All that is known to a Buyer is the Seller's ID and email address.

And sure, it pisses me off that whatever trust we Sellers have painstakingly built over the years with sweat and blood while the Malaysian online market is still at its infancy, is shattered by people like this Singaporean, by people like Lelong's Skyhobby or LYN's Johnny and the likes.

Tell me, how long does it take to overcome this mistrust?

Online Florist With A Personal Touch

Many of my buyers would like to send a second gift to their partners besides their purchases from me. They ask me what they should incorporate, and I told them fresh flowers and why not, since it is so easy to send flowers online. Moreover, I feel that there is a wider range of gifts to pick than traditional neighborhood florists.

FlowerShop.com has all the right gifts for any occasion. We are able to purchase what we want have the gift delivered fast too since most of their products are hand-delivered on the same day. Their network amazes me.

As a Teleflora member florist, we have the guarantee of 100% satisfaction or we'll receive a replacement arrangement without cost.

Planning a Bachelorette Party?

Oft times, I am contacted by people looking for uniquely risque items. All I could do was to reply that I do not sell them.

Now, I can tell them that they may be able to find what they want from Bachelorette.com, especially if they are planning a bachelorette party.

Bachelorette party planning is easy at Bachelorette.com with over 500 items to cater to bachelorette parties including party favors and party kits, which makes them the largest supplier of bachelorette party merchandise.

And if you have no idea what to offer your guests at the party, fret not. There are plenty of party advice and game ideas for you on the site. All of them are free and some of the games come with free downloadable files.

It's great that Bachelorette.com offers party themes as well. Once you have decided on the theme, everything else will fall into place.

Beware of Phishing E-mail from "e-gold.com"

Recently, I received two e-mails from e-gold.com. I do not have an account with them. I know they are trying to phish, that's why I deleted them straightaway without bothering to open the email.

I know it may not be a big deal. I get similar emails from eBay. Although I trade on eBay, the emails are always sent to my email address that is not linked to my eBay.

The same with Paypal.

These emails are easy to detect because they did not go to my regular email address that is linked to these sites. I shudder to think of the mess that would be made should I really click on 'em links in the email.

Anyway, just be careful. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Great Valentine's Gift Baskets

A buyer recently asked me if I will be having new stocks in conjunction with Valentine's Day. I had to tell him that this year, I will not be able to meet that demand as I have to put in overtime at work, which leaves me no time to man my own store.

However, I told him that one of the most popular Valentine's Day gift this year is
Valentines Gift Baskets. It is unique and sweet and stands out from the everyday gifts.

Not only does GourmetGiftBaskets.com offer an extensive range of gourmet Valentine gift baskets, one can even customize the gift baskets and select only the best products to be included, that he knows the recipient will like.

It is amazing that GourmetGiftBaskets.com is able to keep the price low despite filling them with only the finest chocolates, nuts, wines and fruits and this is something that all gift givers should take advantage of.

A Visit to Sophia, Bulgaria

Zuzana told me that her family has finally decided on a family home in Bulgaria and they have their eyes on a Sofia property.

I asked them why Sophia, she said that Bulgaria, and particularly Sophia is fast become a popular investment hub. Therefore, they want to get an upper hand by buying a home now and treat it as a holiday home for now while the property prices appreciate.

Zuzana told me that to live in Sophia, which is a city 550m above sea level and the highest capital in Europe is a breathtaking experience. The view is amazing and the weather is always just right for them. I can't wait to visit her!

Snail Mail Woes

Recently, The Star newspaper reported about snail mail delays by Pos Malaysia. Well, it is great that it's at least reported so that Buyers know that it's not the Sellers' fault for any delay in delivery.

Anyway, for merchandise, I do not recommend snail mail at all, and worse, a normal snail mal with no tracking or insurance. If Buyer insists on this, then no choice, but I still cover my ass with a Surat Akuan Mengepos.

And even though it is also risky to use Pos Ekspres because the recipient is not required to sign for the package, at least the shipping time is very fast, from one to three days hence the risk is minimized.

The best is to stick with Poslaju. You accept it, you sign for it. This may not be a 100% guarantee but it's fast with tracking number and it's 99% reliable.

Great Marine Online Store

Recently, I came across this webstore, NortheastMarineElectronics.com and came away impressed with their huge range of consumer electronic products. They know that to have a safe trip out to seam, reliable equipment like depth finders, radar or Automotive GPS, for example, from trusted brands are very important.

The products offered by NortheastMarineElectronics.com cater to both the professional fisherman and the weekend hobbyist. Moreover, these equipment do not cause an arm or a leg so everybody who is thinking of sailing should get himself well equipped.

I tried to shop at NortheastMarineElectronics.com and found that the store is in fact very easy to navigate and. Inventory is arranged according to product type and brand name, making specific shopping hassle-free.

Thumbs up to a good example of an online store!

More Info On Goji Berries

After I wrote about Himalayan Goji Berries the other day, I was curious about the effectiveness and benefits towards our health.

According to gojiberriesjuice.com, clinical research has shown that people on goji berries juice experience increase in appetite and sleep better too. I think I will incorporate this into my diet as soon as possible, if nothing but to improve my sleep.

According to the author of this website, N. David Anderson, if he were trapped on a desert island, and could only bring one food, goji berries would be it.

Coincidentally, I have thought of this scenario before and honestly, I couldn't come up with one food. Thanks to him, I now have an idea.

Wholesale Fashion & Sports Sunglasses

As a follow up to my previous two posts on CTS Wholesale Sunglasses, I received news of their latest release hot off the oven for Wholesale Fashion & Sports Sunglasses collection.

It is really amazing that we can purchase these sunglasses at only $20 per dozen. Yes, you heard me right. At that price, it's only $1.67 per pair! How much lower can one get it for, I don't know. CTS Wholesale Sunglasses are the direct importers of designer brand replica sunglasses from the manufacturers around the world and they have kindly passed the savings to us buyers.

They have a massive collection of replica sunglasses and it will be unwise not to source from them. The low price is really an added bonus.

Your can also get
Wholesale Sports sunglasses at similar low prices. And if you rather sell Wholesale Fashion Sunglasses, well, CTS Wholesale Sunglasses have them too! These wholesale sunglasses too can be bought at $20 per dozen from Fendi to Gucci to Christian Dior.

Can you imagine the profit margin? It is really up to you to take that bold step to be your own boss. Sell online or in shopping complexes, you will profit since you managed to source your stocks cheaply. And that is the main key to the success of a business.

Booking A Vacation Online

I was informed of a new travel website by my friend who booked an all inclusive Jamaica vacation through the site. Mandy excitedly told me that this site is way better than other travel sites thanks to the customized booking engine that makes everything so easy.

She was amazed to be able to take virtual tours of the places before deciding on the perfect resort, hence she had a fairly good idea of what will be in store for her in Jamaica.

Besides the ease of booking a holiday online, Mandy loves the 50% discount off regular published rates that she will receive exclusively from Vacations.net. With this savings, she is aiming for another all inclusive holiday experience this year end!

Business Opportunities At A Mouse Click

When I decided to go into e-commerce, I decided to go all the way. So I started to spend all my free time just doing research on the various business opportunities available to me.

I even spent and wasted time trying out the services and products to find the best source.

With a reliable online business opportunities directory, we do not have to go the long and hard way. The listings are so extensive and filed according to category, it's so easy start making money!

From advertising to sports to restaurants, you want it, it is there!

Online Petition: Paypal and Ebay : Support Malaysia Bank!!!

It has come to my attention that a fellow Malaysian has initiated a petition to eBay and Paypal to open up Paypal's services to Malaysians and to recognise our local banks. Right now, Malaysia is grouped together with a few other countries that can receive and send money through Paypal. Our *only* withdrawal option is to transfer our PayPal funds to a US bank account. Now, tell me, how many Malaysians are lucky enough to have a US bank account?

Support the Petition!

So, yeah, hopefully our united voice is loud enough for the eBay folks to recognise that we Malaysians use PayPal as well and that just because of a few bad apples, we Malaysians should not be penalised like this.

Although eBay has promised to bring PayPal to our shores in 2007, it does no harm to give it a little push, right?

Shall I Go For It?

After trying rather in vain to get my webstore more visible, my friend asked me why not let the professionals handle it? It saves me time and frustrations plus I am rather guaranteed the results.

etrafficjamss.com is a
search engine marketing company is the leader in Pay-for-Performance search engine optimization.

They normally charge a minimum of $500 per month for top 10 organic rankings, on Google, Yahoo! and/or MSN.

The good thing is that if they failed to deliver this, we do not have to pay. That is very fair indeed!

Shall I hand over the duties? This is really something that should be thought over.

Wahhh Free Webstore Design

Today, one of my dear readers offered to redesign my webstore for free. Awww I'm so touched. However, to be frank, I'm not sure I wanna change the store. Yes, I concede that my store is boring and lacks bling bling and may be difficult in attracting customers.

The thing is, I can hardly spare the time to meddle with something that is working perfectly fine right now. Why fix it when it ain't broken, right?

While I am glad that there is an offer to spruce up the layout, I feel this is not the right time, so I shall let it slide. It's wasted, right? I feel bad too.

What do you think?

Being in the Loop

Being in the internet business, I have to stay in the loop for the things that happen on the net, including dot com mergers, new internet services, new start ups, acquisictions and other industry news.

I keep track diligently as any new development may affect my
online business venture, whether is a positive or negative light.

I don't know how others do it but for me, I get all my news from one website only, the Online Bulletin. Ten days ago, I got the news that eBay Acquires StubHub. This is an interesting development. I can't wait to see how eBay will incorportate this company to their existing auction house.

50sen Increment per Bid

A thought came to me recently. Each bid on eBay only has an increment of 50sen. Perhaps eBay people think that 50sen is the same as 50cents, but it is not.

What is the value of 50sen? What can 50sen buy today? Perhaps ten sweets or less.

So I think that to allow a 50sen increment per bid is too low. I think it should be a minimum of MYR1.00 but an adventurous bidder can of course place anything more than MYR1.00, like MYR1.01 or MYR1.09 to outwit other bidders and bag the auction.

That would be more exciting, don't you think so?

One of the Greatest Publicity Coups

Have you heard of the guy who renamed the town Halfway, Oregon to Half.com, Oregon? Well, any eBayer should!

Time magazine dubbed it as "one of the greatest publicity coups". eBay subsequently later bought Half.com just six months after launch for over $300 million. That's a massive sum for a six-month old dotcom!

He's now a professional
marketing speaker on the speaker circuit. You can check it out here: http://www.buzzmarketing.com/speaking.php

He wrote a book on how he did it and Buzzmarketing. I think all of us who are into marketing should read it.

Finding The Best Car Insurance Companies

A friend of mine wanted to purchase a car. He went looking for the best quotation from car insurance companies. This friend is quite stingy, you see. He wants the best and he wants the cheapest. And he does not mind the time he wastes just calling up car insurance companies for a quotation and wait a bit for the quotation to be ready.

Even with buying a car, he contemplated for so many years already and still haven't booked one yet!

Every time he asks me to accompany him for a test drive, I'll decline and tell him that by the time he really buys it, there would already be ten other newer models in between.

This time he asked for my help to find car insurance companies, I told him, "No way, man!"

Auction CopyCats

What do you do when you discovered that someone has wholesale copied your auction? Perhaps you have the bad luck of selling a similar item as the copycat.

What you can do is to report to the authorities.

For eBay, go to:

http://www.ebay.com.my/helpTSForm
1. Select topic: Questionable Content on eBay -->
2. Select a subtopic: Unauthorized use of image, text, or links -->
3. Select an issue: Use of pictures, text, or links without permission

Remember to provide the necessary information to eBay (Copycat Seller's ID, the item number and your auction listing which has been copied).

This should get the copycat's item delisted.

I faced a similar situation before where a n00b seller came to the forum that I was selling my stuff. She copied all my text, format and right up to font color, size including capital letters. That really pissed me off but I did not report her to the admin.

So far, luckily my images have not been copied. It's a good thing I'm not selling run of the mill products! Otherwise, gggggrrrrrrrrr

Blogging The New Era Advertisement

Recently, I sort of got caught up in blogging. I write so many articles per day but I'm enjoying it. It's all in the name of advertising and marketing actually. I understand what my sponsors want because I am also an advertiser for my own webstore.

I do the
advertising and marketing by myself because I'm low on budget, whereas these companies pay people like me to review their products. So it's actually a win-win situation.

It is not easy to advertise alone. The best is to go by word of mouth. I am lucky to have friends with established websites and directories and they allow me to list on their sites for free *phew*

Besides word of mouth, the most effective way is through WORDS as in blog posts. Yes, this is the new era advertising, whether we like it or not, it's here to stay.

Preserving Wealth

Those who know me know that I’ve been advocating bullion as a form of long term investment. Why not? It is ever so easy to invest and we get to decide how much we want to invest.

As long as we make the initiative to invest, a company like Monex Deposit Company has the professionally trained staff to answer all our doubts and take care of all our investment needs.

No matter if we are purchasing gold, silver or other precious metals and coins, we can request for them to be delivered to us immediately safely and securely, or to ship to an appointed independent bank or depository for safe storage.

If you have some spare cash, you should preserve your wealth by investing in bullions now.

Wirefly's 2006 Top 10 Cell Phones

Ten days ago, Wirefly announces the Top 10 cell phones of 2006 based on sales from their store. Wirefly is the leading one-stop comparison shopping for mobile phones and wireless phone plans.

It is no surprise that Motorola RAZR tops the list. Everyone falls in love with it with just a glance. Yes, it is a very sleek and trendy phone. It s not just a mobile phone but a valuable accessory.

RAZR alone took up the first three spots, so you can imagine its popularity.

Out of the ten phones, eight were Motorolas, along with one Sony Ericsson and one Samsung. My dad loves Motorola. Now I know why! On the other hand, I love the RAZR!

But looking at the list of models, it is the trend now to go wireless and mobile phones now must support music on the go, apart from being small and sleek.

eBay Motors

The other day, I blogged on eBay's new fee structure for eBay Motors. I was curious if there are really that many people trading automobiles eBay, since a car is never small and shipping is going to be a problem.

Of course previously I read about people making record transactions over airplanes and also celebrity cars, but I thought that was one-off and never figured that there are people who sell
Used cars on eBay Motors day in and day out.

It is very surprising to learn that one vehicle is sold every minute on eBay. I think this is even better than what can be sold in second hand car dealers in my city.

The benefit of buying through eBay is that a buyer gets to compare prices of the cars that are available and dealers can be sorted by locality too. It makes no sense to buy a used car cheaply and spend extra on transportation, right?

Like other items that are on eBay, Sellers of automobiles are also offering a wide range of used car models, automobile spare parts and all things vehicles and at affordable prices too. Sometimes, a car can be won at a surprisingly low price. This is the amazing thing about auctions.

Property Investment Spain

My friend Niencke and her family go to Spain for a beach holiday every year during the summer. They are there so much so that they were thinking of a Property Investment Spain. So at least they do not have to stay in expensive hotels full of the holiday crowd anymore.

Off they went online to search for their ideal property. They did not only browse through the internet for
Spanish Property Investment abroad but also engage Realtors to show them around.

Finally they took the plunge of
Spain property investment and bought a beautiful house that faces the open sea.

Living the Diva Life

I figured that today, I should be writing on something other than reviewing webstores. Well, this has something to do with online shopping as well, that is, after you have read the Diva's Dreams and know what you should buy to enhance your wardrobe for the season!

The Diva's Dreams by Belisi is a blog on women's fashion. Well, who knows fashion better than a fashion designer himself? Yes, this is the Peter Belisi of men's ties. He has now expanded to scarves and handbags too.

The Diva's Dreams is a blog filled with fashion tips and tricks, news and discussions on diva living. It covers not only fashion trends but also lifestyle, interior designing, dining and entertaining.

Start transforming yourself into a diva today!

eBay Limits Buyer Protection to PayPal-Funded Transactions

Looks like there's lots of development on the eBay front and not all the new regulations are helpful to us. Last month, there was the restriction on cross border selling. January 2007 sees new listing fees and last week, eBay announced that they will limit Buyer Protection Program to PayPal-Funded transactions only.

eBay will double PayPal Buyer Protection on its site, offering up to $2,000 of coverage for qualified transactions on eBay.com, but is eliminating buyer-protection for non-PayPal transactions.

What this means is, PayPal is making a bold move to weed out Google Checkout from gaining a footing on eBay although it is already a prohibition for Sellers to accept Google Checkout as a payment method.

eBay is keeping the PayPal Buyer Protection program, but doubling its coverage from $1,000 to $2,000. However, the program covers only transactions with qualified sellers who maintain a 98 percent positive feedback rating and have at least 50 feedback points.

eBay's PayPal Buyer Protection program, which has been in place since 1999, will be eliminated beginning 17th January, 2007.

This means that eBay will provide no protection to buyers who pay for transactions with checks, money orders, postal orders, bank-to-bank wire transfers and any other way apart from PayPal.

eBay has no qualms about banning Selles who offer other forms of payment methods like Western Union or MoneyGram as these violates eBay's "Accepted Payments Policy".

When you trade on eBay, tread with care.

Shopping With A Difference

I recently came across a way where our online shopping can make a difference to the less privilege.

By making our regular online purchases at FreePledge.com, we get to select any non-profit organization to support. FreePledge - Shop, Donate, Feel Good has a pool of 153 nonprofits.

What we have to do is just sign up with FreePledge.com and select a non-profit to support. We then proceed to do our usual shopping at the 150 retail partners.

A % of our total purchase is automatically donated to the non-profit that we have selected earlier.

See, we get to shop like we always do and yet do our charity on the side, without expanding our budget. Isn't that great?

eBooks About Everything

I used to read a lot of books, paperback, hardcover, coffee table books, just about anything that I can lay my hands on. However, recently, I have been spending too much time online that I do not have the luxury of books anymore. I subsequently overcame this by reading eBooks. Didn't I tell you that I'm a great multi-tasker?

After a while, though, there are only so many free eBooks to be read. And so I began my search for high quality eBooks from eBook Stores. I came across this webstore that carries
eBooks About Everything.

Wow, it is like a treasure trove to me. There are so many titles to choose from, I couldn't decide what to buy and read first! Luckily everything was listed very systematically and categorized that it's not difficult to search for my favorites titles from the available 70,000 books in 4,000 ebook categories.

Thank God these books are priced affordably. Besides, I can set up my wish list, so that my well-meaning friends can grant my wish! Isn't that awesome?

Not only that, I get to earn eBook points with every activity I made at the store, from registering to submitting a review to referring a friend and of course, when I make purchases!

Socializing With Photos

I have so many photos I really can't find enough online albums to store them. Since most have a limit to the number of photos that we can store, OR resize them as they like without letting me know first, I kept on with my search for the best online album, which led me to Pixamo.com

With Pixamo I am able to tag my photos and easily sort and search them later. The best is I can set up groups of my contacts and allow them specific privacy levels to view my albums.

This way, I can separate the access of family photos and work photos.

The Ultimate Valentine's Day Gift

Valentine's Day is less than a month away and have you made any plans to celebrate it? Many people scoff at the idea of celebrating Love on this particular day due to commercialization, but if there is no Valentine's Day, people will be too busy with life and work that they forget about the people who matters. I know I will.

Valentine's Day come but once a year. What is Valentine's Day without a card, flowers, chocolates, teddy bears and jewelry? These are common Valentine's Day gifts but you can stand out with your gift. And it need not be expensive!

Check out http://www.chocolatecoveredcompany.com/

This is a company that specializes in fruit and chocolate gifts. They offer a wide variety of very unique, hand crafted, chocolate dipped fruits. These gifts are sure to win any girl's heart, and hand, without breaking your bank.

One of the store's most popular items, the Valentine's chocolate covered strawberries can be bought by a dozen, two or four. Only the freshest and highest quality fruits from Sunny California are selected. The berries are carefully hand dipped in chocolate and packaged with care and love and make the perfect Valentine's Day gift and the ultimate way to say, "I love you".

These chocolate covered strawberries are too beautiful to be eaten.

eBay Store With A Difference

I have noticed the trend that even big name companies and celebrity stores are utilizing the eBay engine to create an online presence. I guess it make sense to use an established platform to venture online.

The latest big name company that opened a new eBay store is Diamond House Arizona. Despite its name, Diamond House Arizona does not only serve Arizona ok? eBay is global, so is Diamond House Arizona.

Diamond House Arizona deals with diamonds and currently it carries loose diamonds only. It has launched a new campaign to get their name out by offering a hefty 30 - 50% discount off every purchase. Imagine getting super high quality diamonds at half their usual price! Talk about smart shopping!

Just like its professional looking
Diamond House Arizona store front, Diamond House Arizona is manned by professional staff. Adam, the online sales director is always supportive of customers every need and is always kind and gentle in handling customers as testified by the feedback left by mighty satisfied customers!

And there's Robert, the customer support director, who handles customers who call their toll free numbers. So you know, Diamond House Arizona is just a phone call away!

As mentioned, the store deals in diamonds but it currently holds only loose diamonds. However, I had the pleasure to talk to Adam, the online sales director, and was assured that they will be stocking up the other categories within these upcoming weeks.

Moreover, they have this excellent service whereby you can actually place your request by using the "YOU ASK, WE FIND" option (you can find the button on the left sidebar) and Diamond House Arizona will try to fulfill your request at the lowest possible cost. This is great; you do not need to wait for your favorite items to show up in the store. Just shoot them your request!

Diamond House Arizona offers a 30-day money back guarantee and you can upgrade your diamond anytime with them and at the price that you have bought it for, and this will be deducted out of the total price of your new purchase! That's so cool!

Do You Or Don't You Want It?

Sometimes I receive email from people placing an order, and then he/she will ask me for the item's measurement.

So, naturally, since an order has been placed, I reserve the item and take it off the market.

After getting the measurement, I am supposed to wait for a second confirmation but most times, these people do not reply if the measurement is not what they want.

At least have the courtesy to let me know that they have changed their mind, right? Then I do not have to wait any longer or chase for payment and can release the item out to the market once again and let others have a chance at buying it, right?

But noooo.... these people have to make me wait for a certain period of time till it's confirmed that he/she has changed his/her mind.

*sigh* If only everyone thinks like me!

Know Your International Law

What with many of our small and medium sized businesses going international, including mine, it is vital for us to have some knowledge of international law, and if something bad happens, it is best to engage a law firm and let the professionals handle it.

Harris & Moure, an
International Law Firm and the people behind China Law Blog, are the professionals when it comes to international trade targeting China, Vietnam and Russia. So if you ply your trade, especially if yours is one of those SMEs, in these particular countries, remember the names Harris & Moure!

Pay What You Can Afford!

Since I am online so much, a friend recommended me to upgrade my Windows from XP to Vista. Being as non-technical as myself, I do not relish the thought of treading into the unknown and relearn what I have been accustomed to in Windows XP. As you know, I am into e-commerce and depend on the computer and internet a lot and can hardly spare the time to face a computer that does not run as I expect it to if I were to upgrade to the new Vista and/or Office 2007.

So I was delighted to come across various Vista & Office 2007 Preview Videos that are put together by Marc Liron, an IT Consultant and winner of Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for four consecutive years, and also owner of http://www.updatexp.com, author of the "Windows XP Registry" eBook and creator of "SHERLOCK - The Codec Detective!" free software utility.

What amazed me was that Marc is holding a crazy sale for his training videos and for a total value of over $500 worth of videos, we get to buy them all at the price that we can afford, the lowest being $47 only and this sale will last until 20th January, 2007.

I sure am not dumb enough to let this offer slip away!

2nd Annual Most Monsterous e-Commerce Retailer Of The Year

I admit I have browsed through hundreds of webstores but to be honest, there are only a handful that are stand out. There are even rarer still award wining ones. Coming across one deserves a mention.

A week ago, Your Electronic Warehouse had the honor of being awarded Monster Cable Inc's second annual Most Monsterous e-Commerce Retailer of The Year.

The winner last year was Amazon.com, which was also in the running this year, but can you imagine that Your Electronic Warehouse ousted Amazon.com? This is indeed a great achievement for Your Electronic House as Monster Cable takes into account various aspects of the webstore and staff before honoring a store with this award.

Some of the things that are taken into account are the retailer's outstanding quality in user experience, the user-friendliness of the online store, the presentation and display as well as best mapping of Monster Cable products and the Most Monsterous buyer experience.

Your Electronic Warehouse is the one-stop source for electronic appliances, total audio solutions, custom installation, outdoor grills and mosquito magnets. They are the authorized agent for all the brands that they carry so we get enjoy the warranty and product assurance that comes with the brands.

Seeking Venture Capitalists

Recently, a business associate of ours, Mr. Farrall, came to Malaysia seeking to raise funds for his new mining company. I was a bit amused that he, an American, is here for that when there are so many venture capitalists in the United States. Well, cant blame him since not everyone is as net savvy as I am *ahem*

Anyway, I told him about
Growthink Venture Capital Research, a market research company specializing in the venture capital market. So this is the place to go for all things venture capital.

Mr. Farrall was very happy and to try it out. He was given a demo ID and password for a insider's tour. He told me that this company is different from other similar companies because he is allowed to pay for only the results of specific queries. He doesn't not know how long this offer lasts so he is already taking advantage of it.

He will also be signing up for a 30-day unlimited access to the complete database for only $499. He told me this is a lot cheaper than its competitors.

Mr. Farrall is very optimistic that through Growthink Venture Capital, he will be able to find venture capitalists to back his mining ventures.

New Year, New eBay Fees

What does eBay brnig you this new year of 2007? Well, two words "higher fees". The new fee adjustments will affect eBay sellers on the USA and Canada platforms and also eBay Motors.

The new insertion fee, which will take effect on 30th Jan, 2007, will be as follows:

Core Auction-Style and Fixed Price Listing Fees:

Insertion Fees
We're increasing the Insertion Fee for the $1.00 to $9.99 level from thirty-five cents to forty cents.

Final Value Fees
We're increasing the Final Value Fee for the $25.01 to $1,000.00 level from 3% to 3.25%.

Please note that there are no fee adjustments for eBay Stores or Store Inventory listings.

eBay Motors Fees
The Insertion Fees and Final Values Fees mentioned above will also apply to eBay Motors Parts & Accessories categories.

For eBay Motors Vehicles categories, we are making these adjustments:

The Transaction Services Fee for both Motorcycles and Powersports is increasing from $30.00 to $40.00.
The Transaction Services Fee for Cars & Trucks and all Other Vehicles & Trailers categories is increasing from $40.00 to $50.00.
The Motors Reserve Fee is changing from a flat $5.00 to 0.1% of the reserve price, with a minimum of $5.00 and a maximum of $10.00. (The Reserve Fee is refunded when bidding meets the reserve price.)

This is another jab by eBay on overseas sellers who ply on eBay USA and Canada. The previous one was on cross border selling which was implemented just before Christmas last year.

As eBay grows stronger day by day, it will be harder and harder for people to start selling on eBay.

Discovery of a MotorSport Blog

As you know, I recently started a long list of blogs. I was searching for themes and templates for them and found a really interesting blog in the process.

It is actually a
motorsport blog. You may not know it but I used to keep track of all the motorsports programs on TV from Formula One to Nascar to IndyCar to LeMans and the Motorcycle Grand Prix!

Did I surprise you? Haha I hope not. It's never too late to find out the other side of me.

I'm glad to have discovered this blog so now I can get the latest updates of the new racing season from here!

Spam Is Bad

I don't know about you, but I feel pissed when people e-mail me to market their product UNLESS I have bought something from this seller before. This will not be considered as spam then, but rather an update.

I regularly get such an email from a particular seller whom I was in e-mail contact with previously, although we never traded before.

What is worse is that this particular seller e-mails everybody in her contact list regularly, without the sense of hiding our e-mail addresses in the Blind Carbon Copy field.

Because of this, other fellow sellers who received such an e-mail from her, will utilize that list of recipients and spam us with his/her products. Isn't that unethical? I mean, if I have bought from you before and would like to be updated, then by all means, update me via e-mail, but not when I don't know you and have no wish to buy anything from you at all.

Guerrilla Marketing For My WebStore

No thanks to sluggish sales, I have had to do more research and homework on how to reach out to people and gain their trust enough for them to part with their money at my WebStore.

According to Mark Bove, a certified Guerrilla Marketing coach, the basics of guerrile marketing is to identify a target market and then reach them through their daily routines. This works best for small businesses, just like my business. Hhmmm this sounds easy enough to do.

Mark Bove has also graciously shared the four most important tips to of guerilla marketing with us, which are expanding my network, evaluate my business image, nurturing my existing customers and establishing a marketing calendar to plan my business three to six months ahead.

I am going to implement these tips right now and hope to see better sales on my store!

Gaining Financial Freedom For Yourself

I believe that if you have found your way to my blog, an e-commerce blog, you are looking to create financial freedom for yourself and to uplift the standard of your family, plus gaining time flexibility in the process.

You can achieve all these if you have a great network to support you. If you look at NetWorthUSA's business model and opportunity, you will realise that this is the program that can help you to become your own boss, set your own work hours, determine the amount of time you want to put in "working", take advantage of the tax rebates you will receive for having your own business, safe all the time you have spent on commuting to work and instead spend time with your family and the important people in your life.

NetWorthUSA combines the three most powerful and proven business models in the real world; from network marketing to real estate investing to webucation. Webucation is a word which means online based education.

Now, by combining all these three methods, NetWorthUSA managed to offer to its members a sizable monthly recurring income plus all the free time in the world, without a boss breathing down our necks.

If this is what you have been dreaming of, check out NetWorthUSA now!

Utilizing Directory Submission Service

As you know, I recently started a list of blogs to take full advantage of my domain and hosting plan and I need to raise my page rank as soon as possible. It's no fun being unranked, you know.

Apart from filling my blogs with original content, I really cannot afford the long and tedious hours submitting my blogs to directories. These directories are very important as they help in link building which will then raise my page rank. The minimum page rank I am aiming for is a 3. And from being currently unindexed to a 3 is a long shot. Hence, the importance of directory submissions.

Therefore, I took the short cut of getting a company to help me out. Directorymaximizer.com is a professional company which offers directory submission service. I selected over other companies that offer similar services because the staff at directorymaximizer.com make directory submissions manually, thus ensuring that all submissions are made in a careful and SEO friendly manner.

Also, these links are permanent links and I do not have to link back to them. It's not that I do not want to link back to another website, but if I have a choice, I'd rather not link to a site that is unknown to me.

Best of all, directorymaximizer.com is only charging $14. This is affordable indeed!

Lelong Is Listed! Yay!

Finally, I unexpectedly got the three hours that I asked for last night and I got the new lingerie stocks listed on Lelong. Thank God the internet connection was good all around. Although Lelong is hosted by local servers, I still needed a good connection to access my listings on eBay and to hotlink my images over.

Luckily there were only eighteen new items, so I managed to wrap it up in under three hours. Phew, that was most inefficient of me in my entire e-trading career and the damaged submarine optic cable did not help matters.

Now, I'm off to a marathon copying & pasting to the other forums boards where I ply my trade!

Professional Restaurant Design

The wealth of information on the internet still never fails to amaze me despite being online for the past ten years.

My friend, Paul, the architect, designer cum contractor builds some of the best restaurants found in New York City. Sometimes he needs to design the restaurant for his client but for franchise holders, there will already be a fixed Restaurant Design for him to build.

At other times, when he has too much work, he hires professionals in restaurant design like Quantified Marketing Group. He knows that he can fully depend on these professionals in the restaurant industry to come up with great restaurant designs that his clients will fall in love with.

Just Gimme Three Hours

That's all I need to list my new stocks on Lelong but that's what I'm freaking not getting! I need three hours to sit at the computer to get it done without distractions, without people calling me for this and that. All I'm getting, though, is just snatches of minutes here and there which do not allow me to do much except to check my email. That's all.

I don't know, man, when will I be able to list them up on Lelong? Lelong is a very important market to me but the listing is terribly unfriendly and takes up lots of time.

Luckily the internet connection is fine with Lelong since they are using local servers, otherwise, another frust factor.

Development and Marketing of My Blogs

As some of you may know, I have started a few new blogs which are own-hosted as I would like to migrate from Blogger hosted blogs to my own domain, which is an ideal set up and linked to my WebStore.

It is very difficult to get my new blogs indexed and then rise from unranked to at least a Page Rank of 3. Although I may have had so many blogs before this, but Blogger.com hosted blogs are really idiot-proof and I did not have to do anything to get them appear at the top of search engines except to write key-word rich content.

Hence, I had to employ the services of Serr.biz. What makes Serr.biz stand out from other Search Engine Optimization and Marketing companies is that Serr.biz doesn't only optimizes websites but also provides extensive Blog development and marketing.

My new blogs are really what I would like to be taken care of since my WebStore are already handled by another company. I was very happy that Serr.biz agreed to handle my many blogs although these blogs are still so new and without much content. They will be deploying their blog marketing and advertising strategies.

I can only see results once I start to beef up my blogs with posts but I am confident of Serr.biz as they have a proven track record. I am indeed most happy with their services.

More SEO Techniques

Since I learned about Search Engine Marketing a couple of months ago, I have been rather obsessed with making my webstore search engine friendly. I try to link my keywords and point them to my webstore. The journey is long. Everyday is a learning process.
I found a blog that specializes on Search Engine Marketing by a
Charlotte SEO Consultant. I really like the articles on SEO techniques. I am looking to implement them on my webstore and also my new blogs.

What caught my eye was the SEO scam f the week. Did not know that there are even scams in SEO. I think this is the site that I should visit more often so as not to fall into scams!

My Passion Blogs

Well, life has been thoroughly hectic for the past few months, what with the added hobby of writing paid posts, besides my regular work and eBaying.

Once again, I feel terribly guilty for not updating my passion blogs as regularly as I would like. These passion blogs were not set up for nothing, you know? These are topics that are close to my heart but I feel bad when my traffic tracker tells me that there are people who come in to check out my blog only to find that it's not updated.

The one that suffers the most is my movie & drama blog. It's bad enough that I do not have time to write but for this movie/drama blog, I need to watch the movie or drama first before writing. I don't even have time to sleep, let alone watch a movie.

A friend told me to stop writing those blogs which do bring in revenue. Well, shall I? I still have to set up my own hosted blog and decide if I should start a new blog over there or migrate my old content. Hhmmm it's gonna be tough to decide. Start or migrate??

Saving On Ink Cartridges

I print a lot of documents, especially accounts and sales graphs and after awhile, I couldn't afford original cartridges anymore. I began looking for compatible ink cartridges for my Canon Inkjet Printer, which led me to inkers.biz.

The compatibles sold at inkers.biz were almost 50% cheaper than what I have bought all along. I was apprehensive at first but after my first purchase, the quality was excellent, only thing was it has no brand but it doesn't matter because it's just as good.

Besides, they offer a No Questions Asked Guarantee. If my cartridge doesn't work, I just need to call them up to get a replacement at their expense. I'm so glad for the reassurance.

Fuahhh It's Finally Done, Well, Almost!

Finally, finally I managed to list my lingerie items on eBay. They arrived on 19th December, 2006. Got them listed on the WebStore, then piakkk Taiwan earthquake and the submarine fibre optic cables were damaged. Since then, eBaying has been nightmarish.

All I could do was relist the items and they took me the whole day sometimes. Most of the images were also missing from my listings. There was nothing I could do but to "sell" them without images and of course, nobody would buy without seeing any photos, right?

Anyway, I finally managed to rectify the old listings plus put up the new stuff on eBay last night. That means I have kept my stocks for three weeks before I managed to display them on eBay. Now I still have a few other places to list them. I just hope that the internet connection holds up.
