My Missing Books

If you have read my other blog, you will know that my PC and internet broadband connection were down yesterday. Well, I took the chance to clean up my room. I am so ashamed to admit that I haven't the time to do it in X months! Of course, I am not disclosing the value of X here. Suffice to say I needed this break BADLY. I wished I had a couple of Indon maids to help me out but I don't *sigh*

You know what, sometimes I want to be efficient but I ended up finding a couple of old books that I thought were lost. Well, not exactly lost but I have books that were borrowed by other people but were never returned to me.

So, instead of packing and cleaning and mopping, I ended up reading the old books and now, I would need to wait for another break to clean up the rest of the room!

Blogging Is More Than Writing Killer Posts

I have been a blogger for slightly more than two years and still not many people know of my blogs, mainly because I prefer to keep a low profile. When I first started blogger, my primary purpose is to update my Buyer regarding the products and updates of my Store.

I have since expanded, of course, and even started more blogs, each with a different niche and different level of traffic. So, I have been trying to improve on my blogging and try to increase readership, comments and of course, RSS subscribers.

By chance, I came across a blog this morning called Upstart Blogger. Although I am not an upstart anymore, I am going to read some of the valuable articles there. I just hope that I could complete reading them soon and not get distracted by other work and then end up forgetting to read at all!

Investing Only What You Can Afford To Lose

My friend and I was chatting about making our money grow instead of keeping it in the bank where we are paid very low interest rates even if we lock the money in a Fixed Deposit account for a year or more. Well, granted, Foreign Fixed Deposits pay higher interest rates but still, compared to other forms of investment, FDs fall way below the scale.

Sure, investments come with a lot of risk but I had a chat with a futures broker recently, who was introduced to me by another friend, and he told me that investment takes time, knowledge, experience, patience and there is no room for emotions. Hah... I have to agree with him on that point!

So, I don't know. Right now, I am not ready to bring out my money to open sea because I haven't saved enough yet. I always think that we should only invest what we can afford to lose and right now, I can't afford to lose anything at all!

Where Are All My Movies?

Some of you may know that I am moving my movie review blog to its own domain. Yesterday, when moving content I got a shock myself to realise that I have reviewed more than forty movies and dramas that I watched in the few short months of starting the blog.

I told a friend of mine that I will loan her my collection of DVDs and while sorting them out, I found that I have more than seventy titles and that does not include those that I have not watch yet or have not dug out from obscure places.

Seriously, I have such a large collection that I even scare myself. Don't I have a life that I have so much free time to watch movies? Sometimes two consecutively movies in one night! LOL I know that some of my friends have an even larger collectionof movie titles!

Today, I was told of a perfect software for movie collectors like us. This movie organizer called "All My Movies" helps to keep your movie database organized and complete. It also helps you to download movie posters like the artwork for albums feature of the iPod and iPhone, actors list.

i was afraid that to organize movies using All My Movies, I would have to input everything manually but from what I see, all that is required is usually just the title of the movie and sometimes a little keywords and the rest of the data will be downloaded from online sources.

With a movie organizer that is so user-friendly, we would then be able to keep track of all our movies, on which we have already watched or will watch. You know how sometimes we forget about a title of a movie that we have already watched? Well, just search from All My Movies and you will get the full details of the movie including the poster!

VS Resortwear 2008

Have you seen the latest resortwear from Victoria's Secret [VS]? Well, I never knew that you need special apparel for going to a resort but I guess when you are rich enough to go to a resort then you can afford to buy resortwear just for your trip, particularly resortwear from Victoria's Secret.

Out of curiosity, I went to check out the prices of these VS resortwear but at this point of writing, the Victoria's Secret website is temporarily unavailable due to routine maintenance. Anyway, I will be checking back later.

Do you think that if you are taking a vacation to some exotic resort, that you will buy these just for your trip? I would rather go naked LOL

The Right Kind Of Sports Bra

My friend, Henry, asked me to look for sports bras for her daughter. Well, I don't sell these so I have to search the internet for her. I was browsing through a few sites that specializes in sports apparel and bras but could not find anything that is suitable. Luckily I was told to check out MoveActive.co.uk, a British company that runs an online store selling a wide variety of sports bras and a selection of active wear.

One thing I noticed is that the items here are not too expensive, despite the fact they are in GBP. Right now, there are five major brand names on the store: Enell, Triumph. Pure Lime, USA Pro and Shock Absorber.

I also noticed that they have a very colourful chart that helps buyers determine the kind of bra they require for each particular sport. For instance, they will recommend. If you look at the chart at http://www.moveactive.co.uk/, just look for the sports that you are involved in and then select your bra size. You will then get a list of store recommendations of sports bras that are suitable for your size and activity. I believe that from my hours of looking at online sports bra stores, I have not seen such a chart before.

I personally like Shock Absorber reversible sports bra because I think it is very trendy. Sure, nobody will notice the trendiness INSIDE but then it sure boosts my confidence to know that I am wearing a sports bra as nice as that. As for Henry’s daughter, I will let her know that she should get a Pure Lime support bra top, just right for her, a teenager.

Wow, I also noticed that MoveActive.co.uk provides same day shipping for orders placed before 2pm. Although I also run an online store and am known as one of the fastest shipper on eBay Malaysia, I dare not commit myself with an open policy like that LOL but then I am only a one-woman show!

If you are an actively into sports and do not have proper sports bra, then perhaps you shold consider getting them. Read the FAQ on the website to learn why it is important to wear the correct sports bra for the various sporting activities.

Save $500 Off Super Bowl Tickets

I know that many people are already scouring the internet for savings on their super bowl tickets. Some of you may know that I run two freebies blogs. I have got messages from blog readers from asking me if there are any contests where they could try winning Super Bowl tickets too!

Well, I have got good news for you! Tickets Now is running a promotion where you can save $500 off your tickets by sending a text message to 26220 with the message "NFL". You will receive a reply to your message with your code which you can use at checkout where $500 will be deducted from each ticket.

Alternatively, you can call (800) 927-2770 to request for a code. If you are going to buy those Super Bowl tickets, remember to use your Super Bowl promo code, courtesy of Tickets Now!

Only One Unit Per Item

I would just like to remind everyone who is taking their time in contemplating if they should or should not buy my items. Well, do not take too long to decide because I only have one unit per item.

Many times I have to field emails by disappointed people who said that they want that item XXX but it is no longer available at my store. Why is that so? Well, the reason is that it has been sold. So that's why I removed it, after all, I only have one of each item and will not have the same one in the next consignment.

If you would like to purchase anything from my store, just place an order with me. You will have three days to make payment for your purchases. Within the placement of order and payment, you are free to cancel your order. I may not like it because it is confusing to me but I will allow it. So there will be three days for you to make up your mind.

So I see you there at my Store, OK?

Happy Thaipusam!!!

Woooo it's a holiday today so what plans do you have? Most of my friends will be staying away from the computer to spend some quality time with their families. Of course, those who are working overseas will not enjoy this extra off day.

Many of my friends from overseas are envious of us that we have so many holidays i Malaysia. I think there are at least three weeks off a year what with all the various religious festivities and Birthdays of royals. And what else do we celebrate? There are some state holidays too and being in Perak, I do enjoy quite a few extra days off work too!

However, do take note that there shall be no shipping today. Even if I want to upkeep my reputation as one of the fastest shippers on eBay Malaysia, the Post Office is closed today.

Fresh Opportunities With A.E. Feldman

My friend, who is a risk manager at a leading financial institution told me that he is feeling bored at work and he does not find it challenging enough anymore. Although he would like to seek greener pastures, it is not easy what with the current employment market.

However, I did tell him about an executive search firm called A.E. Feldman that I got to know of some months back and their track record and speciality in job placement for senior executives and managers.

I feel that if my friend needs to look for a job, a company like A.E. Feldman is the kind of company that he should go to. This is because A.E. Feldman has the experience in helping both employer and job seeker make a connection of a fruitful career.

I am not sure if my friend will take my word but I did provide him with the web address of A.E. Feldman so that has another option for fresh opportunities.

Up To 60% Off La Senza Spirit

This is hot off the press. I just received news that la Senza is running a crazy sale for their La Senza Spirit, their line of sports apparel for ladies. I would so love to get some of the action because 60% is definitely not easy to resist, I tell you!

The only reason I am not getting is because I am not a sporty person and I don't exercise, which explains why I am getting fatter and fatter. Some people call this a "good life" but eh... it's because I am sitting in front of the computer for too long hours! Now, what good is that??

Seriously, save up to 60%, free regular shipping on orders above $69 for Canadian customers and a free reusable bag on orders above $50. What more could a shopping gal ask for?

Hhmm, by the way, what is a reusable bag? I didn't know that all my other bags should be discarded after one use??

Antique Or Modern Furniture

Chinese New Year is next month and my parents are thinking of changing the furniture of the living room. It's funny the way the mindset of the Chinese is. We want to buy new things and clean the house real good to invite wealth and throw out the bad luck. I am not sure if this works or not but I definitely am not going to test my luck and clean the house on the first few days of Chinese New Year!

So my parents think that we should get a set of antique furniture. Not really the old antique but only the design is antique of the Ming Dynasty but I prefer modern furniture. Perhaps when I am older I would appreciate antique furniture but not now.

What do you think? Should we go for antique or modern furniture? Did you know that the antique set is more expensive? Hah... I think I want to save some Ringgit by going for modern!

Beer Pong

Although I am a teetotaller, I don't think that I know a single guy who does not go to at a beer drinking session with his buddies at least once a week. I now think that it is a normal guy trait. I could be wrong though but I did ask a couple of friends why they like to drink beer like that and they say that I will never understand. Oh well....

Last night, I got to know that a friend has gone one step further. Can you believe that he bought a beer pong table so that he can ask his buddies over to his house to play beer pong? I know he likes beer games, and his all-time favorite movie is Beerfest but that is too much already, right?

Luckily he is a bachelor and lives alone so he could do pretty much whatever he likes at home and no one would mind. Ah... perhaps I should join them one day but no way am I going to drink the beer if I lose. Bah!!!

Lelong Completed!

Phew.... I am so happy that I finally managed to list all my new items on Lelong. It was crazy. I had to list and end and list and found out that it has already been listed and delete it and also missed an item and it was not easy to track which was the item that I missed out listing!

In short, it was just confusing but it's done. Now I will give it a little time and see how sales will go. If it's not good then I will have to copy my new items over to my forum listings.

Yea, it's a lot of work and not worth the time I spend on each time a consignment comes in but I love lingerie and I love packing them and sending them out to people who love lingerie as well.

I love it that I could deliver my items fast and able to upkeep my good record and reputation as one of the fastest shippers on eBay. Yeehaa! Bring 'em on!!

Going Green

Lately, I have been trying to do my part in helping the environment in whatever way I could, especially in efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle. Although I have been doing this for a few years already, I have always felt that I am not doing enough and hence, I have stepped up my efforts beginning this year.

I am also consciously opting for eco products even if they may be slightly more expensive. Besides the 3 Rs mentioned about, I am also reading up tips on energy saving so that I could implement them in my daily life.

The efforts of a single person may not be noticed but if all of us do our part, I believe that we could help make the world a better place to live in for future generations.

So what about you? Do you plan to go green?

Gold Medal Wine Club

Last weekend, I attended my friend's birthday party and I was surprised to learn that quite a few of them are quite knowledgeable about wines. I didn't know there are wine lovers among us. It seems that they are members of a local wine club too and according to them, membership is not cheap!

This morning, I got to know about Gold Medal Wine Club of California, USA, which is a leading American wine club, and comprises of four wine clubs. Unlike the local wine club that my friends are members of, it is free to join Gold Medal Wine Club. There is no membership fee to pay except for the monthly fee for two bottles of premium wines.

I think that for people who are new to this hobby, it is advisable to join these wine of the month clubs so that they will be the first to receive the latest wines without having to read up on them and then look for it at the stores! They may not even be able to find them yet!

Also, Gold Medal Wine Club offers to members direct prices for some of the best wines. Joining a club like Gold Medal Wine Club means that you will always be informed of the latest news on wine, be the first to try them out and get the opportunity to purchase them at special member prices.

Crawling At Snail's Pace

I know, I said it recently that I am very slow in listing my items on Lelong. Do you know how many I managed to list yesterday? A miserable SIX only. Yaya, perhaps it is because I am rusty already in my listing but Lelong's WYSIWYG editor is very unfriendly.

At least, what I see on my editor is not what I am getting on my listing! I hate to go back over and over again to shift my space between lines and paragraphs and that drives me nuts besides the fact that it is slowing down my progress.

Anyway, only have EIGHT more to go and then all will be up on Lelong. Phew... I hope to be able to complete that today so that I can move on to other things, like more blogging, tomorrow.

I think this time, I will not be listing my items on various forums and only sell from three places: my Store, eBay and Lelong. I just don’t have the time to go around copying, pasting and publishing even though forum posting is usually a breeze. We’ll have to see how later.

Light In The Box Online Store

As an online seller, I have been trying to find a dropshipper to take care of my inventory but I have not managed to do so yet. My friend told me that I should source for my products from China, like what he is doing now but I am not that keen to deal directly with manufacturers mainly because of communication problems.

Just now, I got to know of an online store based in China called LightInTheBox. Unlike my store, LightInTheBox handles both retail and wholesale businesses with Chinese products AND dropships. Friends who have been to China on business to me that there are many manufacturing plants in China and no matter what you are looking for, you could most probably find it manufactured in China.

Just now, when I accessed the store at http://www.lightinthebox.com/, I was intrigued with an item they have called "iPhone's brother". As the name suggests, it's not an iPhone but looks like one at a fraction of the cost of a real iPhone.

I was also very happy to note that they carry iPhone accessories. I have been searching around auction sites but could nothing caught my fancy so far. Hopefully I could find my item here! The good news is that they do offer free international shipping for selected items. By the way, they ship from China, so this is very helpful!

Check Out My Store

Have you already checked out the new stocks on my Store? If you have not, what are you waiting for? While a couple of days ago, I was complaining that stocks are at a crawl, I am glad to note that the speed is picking up. That is good news for me but it also means that the longer it takes you to come to my Store, the less items there are for you to pick and choose.

My Store is the place to buy Victoria's Secret at a fraction of the price that you will have to pay buying from a Victoria's Secret brick-n-mortar Store or online store.

In fact, one of the most common questions that I receive from potential buyers is whether my Victoria's Secret lingerie are authentic. Well, if you want to know, then you will have to buy it from me first. A regular Victoria's Secret customer can tell the quality!

Redeeming With Bad Credit Credit Cards

Some people think that credit cards are the root of all evil. However, I think that it is up to us to manage our credit cards as if they are cash. Mismanagement of credit cards will only get us into financial trouble. And I personally know of people who now suffer from bad credit rating all because of overcharging their credit cards.

All is not lost, though. There is help in the form of Credit Cards For People With Bad Credit. Now, you may think that the logical thing to do is get those credit cards away from people with bad credit but that is not how things work.

For people with bad credit to start with, giving them a second chance with a bad credit credit card, if they can pay off their bill on time without defaulting, they are actually rebuilding their credit and raising their credit score once again.

Come to think of it, this could be the only option for many people with bad credit to redeem themselves financially.

14 Down ONLY

Don't know how many more to go. I have lost count of the number of items to be listed on Lelong. I think there should be more than forty items but between those that have been sold meanwhile and those that are already ordered and pending payment, I lost count.

The only number that I jotted down is that from the new consignment, I have only listed a total of fourteen items. I did those yesterday and yes, it took me the better part of the day too!

If I could list fourteen on Lelong a day, that means that I would need three days to completely list them on the site BUT it is already 7pm today and I have yet to get one up. Bah.... tell me it is because I have too much work to do that I am unable to work on the Lelong listings and not because I am a bad time manager!

If I have to make time for everything then I would be sleeping lesser and lesser! An extra pair of hands is needed!

Backing Up Data Automatically At A Low Cost

Being a small business owner, I have this fear that technology will fail me and I can't access my files on my computer one day. I wrote a post the other day that we cannot depend on technology entirely. My friend also advised me to store my data on an external hard drive but that only offers partial security.

A couple of months ago, I was told of something called online backup. Prior to that, I did not know that such a wonderful service existed. I had the chance to check out IBackup - online backup that we could use to back up our important data and access it wherever we are as long as we are connected to the internet.

The most important feature to me is the ability to back up data that is constantly in use like my Hotmail email that I access via Outlook Express. Since that is my primary business email, I have plenty of mail coming through that I need to keep a copy of and with IBackup running on my computer, I no longer have to keep remembering when was the last time I backed up my data.

I think that paying USD 9.95 per month or USD 99.50 for a year of subscription to the economy plan will be worth every dollar to have worry-free days where we can concentrate fully on our business!

Slow & Tedious Process

This morning, I started to list my new items on Lelong. Boy, what a slow and tedious process it is. Not that I am complain because when I first started this business, I knew that it would be monotonous and repetitive but I am lucky to have found a product that I like dealing with on a daily basis.

It is just that after being forced to stay away from the trade for months, I am a little rusty now. This morning, before trying out the new listing method, my frustrations nearly killed my mood in working on the new items.

Luckily, I managed to find a way that would work well. It's slow but it IS progress! From noon till now, I only managed to list a miserable six items. It is not as if I had the time sit in front of the computer to do it every minute though, so with over forty items to list, I expect this to take a week.

Baseball Bat As A Gift

Just now when I was browsing through http://www.kidsportsinc.com, a though occurred to me. I was supposed to look for a gift for the son of our boss. That may sound simple but we know nothing much about him except that he is a sports freak who could play all kinds of games. Hmm I don't know if he EXCELS in them or not, though. That is more important, isn't it?

Like I mentioned, Kid Sports Inc. is like an online sports emporium that carries all kinds of sports equipment for children and youths. It's hard to imagine what America would be like without sports. If you have attended any sporting event in the United States, you would be able to witness the raw passion for sports in ordinary American folks. I don’t get it though, but I digress…..

Anyway, just now, I thought that it would be great and easy work for me to just get him one of those baseball bats that are sold at Kid Sports Inc. and I was very happy to note that they are really affordable but of course, I would have to discuss about this with my colleagues first who will also be chipping in money for the birthday gift.

If we could make the son happy, it means that we have made the boss happy and that is very important in our company!

Eat Full Nothing To Do

I have finished listing all my new items on eBay and you know what? My blogs have been so quiet lately because I took down all my eBay items and will update them with new photos. Yes, I think that we should do this if our items are not selling well. I read somewhere that we should refresh and update our listing every six months so it looks like I am mighty late already. My only excuse is that I do not have the time to do so.

I also noticed that I need to update the shipping rate for some of my listings. I must have missed them out in my previous update. LOL So if you would like to save a little something on shipping, check out my listings right NOW before I have the chance to edit my items. Perhaps you will come across the wayward listing with the old shipping rate.

Meanwhile, stay tuned, new shots coming in the old listings, besides an updated shipping fee chart.

Youth Sports Equipment

A few days ago, I wrote that I think America has a great educational program where they provide kids a balance life in school with an equal importance on sports and books unlike here in Malaysia where the authorities try to turn us all into bookworms.

I was once asked what the most popular sports in America is. I thought that it's American football but I was wrong. It's actually baseball. In retrospect, I am really not surprised when kids are groomed to play baseball and other sports from young.

I checked out http://www.kidsportsinc.com/ earlier today and they have everything baseball for youths. If you are looking for baseball gloves, bats, balls, uniforms and what-not for your little leaguer then you may want to start your search here at Kid Sports Inc. I may not be familiar with baseball but after looking through their products, I am pretty sure they carry the complete baseball equipment for children.

Apart from baseball equipment for youths, you can also find equipment for other sports like American football, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, soccer and other popular sports. They do take it seriously when it comes to nurturing the kids to excel in sports from young.

With a 5-star customer rating, I am sure that Kid Sports Inc. would be able to equip your child with the best value for money youth sports equipment.

Price Hike

I read that prices for old, gas, gold and other precious metals are rising while the USD is falling. From a report that I read, investors are advised to ship out of USD and buy gold and oil. In my opinion, the price is already too high to jump in. I am not sure if this is a good time to buy but then it is an exciting time for people who relish the risk of playing with their spare cash.

I know it could turn in a handsome return with a quick Buy/Sell turnover but then that is not my kind of game. Besides, I am not rich enough to play high stake games like that. What about you? Are you going to listen to those expert analysts and plunge in head on?

How Long Do I Need?

I started to list my new consignment on eBay this morning but just before noon, I had new work on my desk that is more pressing that require immediate attention. Well, sometimes I could draw up a schedule and deadline but then something like this happens and my time and attention will be diverted and it kills my mood and train of thought in listing those items. So the rest of the items will have to wait for another day.

How many items have I listed this morning in the few hours? A measly ELEVEN only. Well, I know I could safe a little time by using eBay's Turbo Lister but I think that as right now, I don't even have the time to explore it and will end up wasting more time testing out its features and functions.

I hope that before the week is over, I can get all forty three new items up and then start on Lelong next week. HHmm it's tedious and like I said, the little profit doesn't justify the amount of work. It takes hard work and determination to stay in a business like this!

In-depth Information On Home Mortgages

It's often that we have questions with our home mortgage but we do not know where to turn to. I have gone online to search for answers too but more often than not, I have to go to a few sites before I get the "complete picture" since there is rarely a site that have answers to all my questions.

This morning, I was told of RiverWorks, a mortgage company. At a glance, the website looks like a very simple site without much information but looks can be deceiving.

Reading through the pages, I realized that the information here is precise and just what a person with questions on home mortgages would need to know. For example, if you are looking for information on home mortgages Greenville SC, I am confident that you will have your questions answered by RiverWorks, like the step-by-step process of applying for a mortgage or find out the definition of some commonly used terms in the mortgage business.

"Attacking" eBay Now

Well, it has been days since I listed my new consignment on my Store. Sales have been slow but I have expected that due to my months of silence and also most people have exhausted their funds during Christmas sales.

Even though I have been quiet at the storefront, I did prepare promotional items for my store in anticipation of the time when I will be going back to this business full time. Need to think ahead, you know?

Like I said, sales are slow but it is all right. I will be listing them all on eBay and then Lelong but I won't have the time to sit down and do everything in one day. I think I will be able to slot in a few items at a time only whenever I could find the time. This is going to slow down sales significantly too and increases my holding cost but I am fine with it as well.

I believe that once I get my momentum again, sales will pick up and my former Buyers will return. As usual, I have freebies to give away and that always sweetens the deal.

Spring Cleaning

Chinese New Year is just around the corner. I just realized it is not even a month away! Luckily I have got my new stocks listed on my Store already but I would still need time to list them up on eBay and Lelong. The new listing format on eBay is driving me batty but I am confident that once I got the template saved and the first item listed, the rest would be a breeze.

As with previous years, I would have to get the home in tip top condition for Chinese New Year. We call it Spring cleaning here. Even if I personally don't have friends visiting me, my parents will have relatives coming over.

I remember last year my friend told me to get a vacuum cleaner because I need to keep up with technology and not get the cleaning done manually. I could hire a maid, but I have two dogs at home and no maid is willing to come in because they are afraid of dogs. Oh, well!

What are the best vacuum cleaners in the market, do you know? I know, I am supposed to be this high tech girl but I don't even know what is going on in the vacuum cleaning market.

I think I will have to ask around for friends' opinions and let them suggest to me the best vacuum to buy. Or perhaps I would just depend on the best vacuum reviews on Wize.com. What do you think?

How Many Sizes of Soccer Balls Are There?

The new school term has just started and all the kids have gone back to hitting the books and the sports field. I think that the Americans have a more rounded education system which balances academic and sports while we in Malaysia are more book-orientated.

According to my friend who is raising her kids in America, sport is a major part of their children's school life and an extra curricular activity that is compulsory for all. My friend says that her sons are in the junior soccer team of their school and the parents have to chip in cash to keep the team going with soccer balls, uniforms and shoes.

I was just surfing around http://www.soccergoalzinc.com this morning and am pleasantly surprised that they have plenty of soccer training equipment for sale even for young kids. They do train them young, don't they? No wonder some of the best athletes in the world are Americans.

Hhmm a thought just came to mind. Do young soccer-playing kids have their special sized soccer balls or do they play with the soccer balls that adults use? This came to mind after viewing the portable junior target soccer goal. Perhaps these junior players do have smaller soccer balls to fit into the goal…. or perhaps not. I am confused now!

VS Sweaters $29 & Up - VS Turtlenecks $19 & Up

My sister, and many fans of Victoria's Secret are so exciting about the Semi-Annual Sale. Well, I don't know what the fuss is all about because to me, the items are STILL not cheap enough for me. Yes, $29 sweaters or $19 turtlenecks are still expensive. Perhaps my mind is conditioned to convert whatever figure in USD to MYR. I CAN'T HELP IT, OK?

According to my sister, VS is very popular among school girls. I bet they have rich parents because how else would a school girl be able to afford a cotton panty or thong for $7.50 - $10 EACH?

Eeekkkk I have plenty of VS this consignment and I am selling them cheaply in conjunction with Valentine's Day. I hope that sales would be brisk. If you want cheap VS, you might as well come to CyberPartyaGal's WebStore and I tell you, they are authentic VS, OK? Don't write in and ask me why my items are cheap. I could sell them to you at retail price if you want. Better for me too!

Never Misuse Your Payday Loans

We all know that many people do not have a good perception of payday loans but I personally think that if we are in need to fast cash in case of an emergency and we have exhausted all other avenues like friends and relatives, then payday loans could be the only answer.

Sometimes, life may hand us a bad deal and even if we do not want to apply for a payday loan, we end up doing it because it is the best thing to do at that point of time. But fret not. Payday loans are not all bad as long as we do not misuse the money that seems easy to come by and as long as we repay the loan as soon as we receive our next paycheck. That's the primary purpose of a payday loan, anyway - to tie us through a bad patch until the next paycheck.

One of the payday loans that I browsed through this morning is at http://www.personalcashadvance.com. This company provides instant payday loans of up to $1500 but one has to be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen and working at a job that pays at least $1000.

It is interesting to note that even a bankrupt charge would not prevent someone for applying for a payday advance and get it approved. Even so, if you are planning to get a payday loan, you have to make sure that your financial situation really warrants it!

Enhancing Quality Of Life

............. with the Beasy Board Trans Easy Transfer System. There are some of us who are unfortunately forced to be a care giver to a loved one or many there are some of us who are receiving care giving. It certainly is never an easy situation to handle. I know because I have been a caregiver before and even though I was only "part time" to relieve my other relatives, it was difficult on me too.

This morning, I discovered that there is something called the Beasy Board Transfer Board for people who are not able to walk, either temporarily or permanently and using this innovative product would provide a better quality of life for both parties.

When I first read about this product, I really wanted to cry for all the trouble that we had to go through caring for my invalid grandfather. I WISHED there was something like this back then. Or maybe there was already except that we never knew about it!

How To be An E-trader

The other day, I saw from my traffic statistics that someone wanted to know "How to be an e-trader?" Well, I am an e-trader and so he or she found my blog from the search engine. How does one be SOMETHING? I don't know why or how I decided to be an e-trader but I think it is pretty awesome that with the internet, many of us are given the chance to earn a little pocket money from the comfort of our homes.

Of course, I am not saying that it's a breeze to be an e-trader. Read my previous post and that is only the tip of the iceberg. If you know me personally, you would know that the amount of work involved in my business certainly does not justify the little profit that I am making but I still do it because of PASSION.

To be an e-trader is a rather lonely job so unless you have passion for the item that you are trading in, it could be a rather long and lonely ride. I think that we should not purposely BE something or somebody but to go with the flow. Of course, I am not saying that we should not plan but there's no point going out of your way to be that "something" just because you think it's a money making concern or that it's cool to be it.

Short-Changed

Well, at first I was very happy that I finally managed to list all my items up on my store. That was only the first step as I still have to list them all on eBay and Lelong later since I cannot bang all my hopes on my store alone and I do need more eyeballs on my items.

But after such a long time laying off my store due to work, I have forgotten that as an e-trader, I will always come across people who short-change me by trying to get their hands on my freebie, which I have specific terms for my Buyers to meet because, hey, these are expensive branded items and of course, they will have conditions to meet.

And they will always be people who "pretend don't know" and send me inadequate shipping even though they KNOW that they can't possibly use a particular shipping way due to the weight or size of their item.

BUT they still do it. It is rather sad that there are Buyers that I consider as friends but when it comes to business, they will try to get their hands on my products at the lowest possible cost to them even if I lose. Some times I do try to close an eye, especially if they are returning buyers but some times I have to speak up and either way, it hurts me to see the other side of people.

Career In The Beauty Industry

In my hometown, it's a big thing to be a beautician because we have the perception that only beautiful people can be in the beauty industry. If one is not beautiful, how can one be a promoter of beauty, right?

However, I live in a cow town and looking for beauty jobs is really like looking for a needle in the hay stack.

I think that Americans have things so easy. They even have a job board for people in the beauty industry to connect with each other, whether they are looking for beauty jobs OR looking for people to fill the jobs in their beauty salons. Beautyjobs.com is one such job board which provides a platform for people to offer their skills or jobs and for free too.

If we have such a job board specifically for people in the beauty industry then it would further encourage people to take up a career in the beauty industry.

My Celcom 3G Down

It has been hours since my Celcom 3G has been down. Let's see. I first discovered it was down at around 9pm and it is almost 6am now and it is still not getting any better. Luckily I could still make and receive calls and text messages. You know, the thing I hate about sharing of 3G line in the same SIM card is that when I do not have a 3G signal, even my phone line could not function at all. Luckily this isn't the case this time.

I think that if this problem persists in a few more hours, I would have to call the Celcom Customer Careline. Hey, I am a paying customer, you know, and I expect and deserve at least 99% uptime.

I think that they should at least provide me with a rebate or something for the hours that I am not able to use 3G and I lost heck of opportunities when my line was down last evening.

I wonder if this is juts a problem in my area or if it is a nationwide problem. I guess I would not know unless I make a call to the Customer Service later.

Listed!!!

Phew!!! After a long struggle, I finally managed to list all my new lingerie items on my store. I say struggle because I could hardly find the time for my poor store lately but I managed to do it over the New Year's holiday.

No longer am I able to do everything in one sitting but I had to break up my tasks over a few days from taking pictures, them cropping and resizing them, uploading them to the server and writing description for each time and measuring them for the convenience of Buyers and then publishing everything. I also had the pleasure to inform everyone on my mailing lists about it.

My regret is that I am unable to send out emails one by one personally because I could not spare the time.

Here's part of the new items that I have just published on my store. Of course there are more but to see those and other details like sizes and prices, I'm afraid you will have to check my store at http://www.cyberpartgal.com

I look forward to serving you once again!!!
