Last weekend, I attended my friend's birthday party and I was surprised to learn that quite a few of them are quite knowledgeable about wines. I didn't know there are wine lovers among us. It seems that they are members of a local wine club too and according to them, membership is not cheap!
This morning, I got to know about Gold Medal Wine Club of California, USA, which is a leading American wine club, and comprises of four wine clubs. Unlike the local wine club that my friends are members of, it is free to join Gold Medal Wine Club. There is no membership fee to pay except for the monthly fee for two bottles of premium wines.
I think that for people who are new to this hobby, it is advisable to join these wine of the month clubs so that they will be the first to receive the latest wines without having to read up on them and then look for it at the stores! They may not even be able to find them yet!
