A couple of friends I know who did a PayPal withdrawal recently have their funds delayed for a long time. They did this withdrawal back in January and one of them got the funds seven days after that while another is still waiting.
The difference between these two people is that one status is still showing Pending while the other showed Completed.
According to PayPal staff, when it is showing Completed but the funds are still not cleared, it is a problem with our bank that caused the delay. And a Pending status means that the glitch is on their side.
It seems that this problem started on 20th January, 2008. The problem with PayPal is that they should at least post a notice on PayPal upon log in, that there is a problem that could cause a delay. But no. They still allowed us to continue making withdrawals and having our money stuck till don't know when. This is not the way to do things, is it?
