How many hours do people who work from home put into their work? From the many work from home ladies that I talked to, many told me that they put in way longer hours than they did when they were working outside.
For one, they know that they are working for themselves and whatever rewards will be for them so that is highly satisfactory.
Another thing is that many do not know how to separate work with family life and household chores. They told me that they usually end up giving priority to the home first, then work, then themselves.
But a friend asked me, if I fall sick from neglecting myself, how am I going to care for my family? So I think that if you are working from home, you need to learn to draw a line between work time and family time and shut the door of your SOHO once your office hours are over.
As the saying goes, work never ends so take it easy!
