Protection For Normal Mail

If Buyer insists on using Normal Mail, a Seller can protect herself with
just 20 sen, in case of lost mail during transit.

What a Seller can do is to request for a "Surat Akuan Mengepos" from
the post office.

Fill up the recipient's particulars (name & delivery address) and stick a
20 sen stamp on it. Hand the package to the counter clerk and get the
Certificate validated with the date stamp.

Written on the reverse of the Certificate:

Benda Pos mengikut Surat Akuan Pos tidaklah didaftarkan tetapi sebagai barang pos biasa yang dimasukkan di dalam peti surat.

Surat Akuan Pos tidaklah bermakna yang pengirimnya hendak menerima bayaran gantirugi, jika berlaku kehilangan, kerosakan atau lambat terima.

Pengeluaran Surat Akuan Mengepos ini adalah membuktikan bahawa
benda-benda pos itu telah dicatatkan pada Surat Akuan dan diposkan di Pejabat Pos pada tarikh yang dinyatakan ini bukanlah bukti bahawa
benda pos yang berkenaan telah diposkan dan bukan pula surat keterangan berkenaan kandungan benda pos itu.

This Certificate of Posting does not mean that the Sender intends to
claim from the post office in the event of loss, damage or delay in
delivery.

This Certificate of Posting proves that the package has been sent out
on the date as stamped. The contents of the package is not recorded.
