Any Update on Cyber Laws?

Although being an online trader myself, sometimes I wish there's tighter cyber laws to curb the already rampant cyber fraud cases that are happening in popular auction sites and other similar trading platforms.

Yes, bringing in more laws will indeed curb genuine traders like myself as well, but I can see that it will be beneficial to all of us in the long run. IF there are effective rules applied, I'm sure buyers confidence will be raised.

And with buyers confidence raised, more and more people will venture into online shopping and naturally, this benefits the sellers too.

Right now, online shopping in Malaysia is still very much in its infancy. People are afraid of losing money to fraudulant sales and this is understandable when there are not many laws that can protect a buyer.

However, once the buyer-seller relationship is established between a genuine buyer and a genuine seller, future transactions will be smooth sailing.

A successful transaction is not only when payment is made on time, but also goods received in good order. A successful transaction is when both buyer and seller are open to communication and satisfied with the deal.

Happy trading!
