Was just randomly surfing the net today and came across a few companies offering "Virtual Office" services. And I thought, this could be the answer for those of us who would like to open a savings account with a Singaporean bank, to enable withdrawal of PayPal funds.
Opening a savings account with any Singaporean bank will require a local Singaporean address, and not all of us are lucky enough to have relatives in Singapore. So, this is where "Virtual Office" comes in.
And of course, with the savings account done, we can actually transfer our PayPal funds to our savings account and withdraw the funds via ATM in Malaysia.
Taadaa problem solved :-)
P/S: This service is only worthwhile for big time PayPal users :-p
