Many steps have been taken by victims, including lodging police reports, making claims with the Consumer Tribunals, meeting with Michael Chong of MCA and going to the press.
These did not bring any satisfactory result, but what other avenues do victims have?
Lelong administrators have kept mum over ths matter, although it seems that they did make a trip to Labuan where Skyhobby is based in. However, we were not updated on the outcome of the trip, unfortunately. This is very disheartening and unbecoming of Malaysia's premier auction platform. And what did Skyhobby do with the over 60K cash conned from at least 150 victims? They invested in the Swiss Cash ponzi scheme, hoping to net bigger fish! (unconfirmed *news* report)
There's only one way to apply pressure on Lelong, and indirectly on Skyhobby, and that would need the co-operation of ALL Lelong members, be they victims of Skyhobby or not.
