Preventing Unwelcomed / Malicious Bidders

A well thought out description for your auction can prevent unwelcomed or malicious bidders.

Your description, however brief you wish it to be, should include the following:

1. your shipping areas
2. if the sale is open to any member, or only members with 100% positive feedback, or members with at least 10 positives, etc.
3. your accepted mode of payment

If any bidder outside this scope bids on your item, you CAN cancel the bid, and if you wish, you can place this member ID in your Blocked Bidder List.

You can also cancel a bid IF you suspect that the bidder is not a genuine buyer, if he bids on multiple items of yours without the intention of completing the transaction, or if he bids at a very high price, with the aim of disruption your auction.

Unwelcome Buying policy is only applicable for auctions that are active.

If your auction closed with a successful bidder but this winner did not reply you after sufficient time then this falls under Unpaid Items and that is another story for another day.
