ClickBank Also Rejects Malaysia

Like I mentioned in earlier posts, I wanted to join affiliate programmes after a friend told me that he is able to make some serious money just selling downloadable software online.

There are a few digital marketplaces but ClickBank is the leader and their rane of products is really huge and the publishers give some pretty good commission. Unfortunately, payment is via ClickBank, who is sort of like a facilitator. And ClickBank only issues cheques and guess what (no prizes for correct guesses), ClickBank does not send out cheques to Malaysia. You say WTF or not??

I am not that keen anymore, because I for one do not like to trouble people for having to recive my cheques and post out to me, and then I will have a long wait to even see the money.

Besides, to cash a foreign cheque in Malaysia, the bank charges anything from MYR5 to USD30 per cheque. That's cutthroat!

As ClickBank's out for me, I went to browse through another similar website. The concept is the same, but they have fewer products. Payment of commission is made through Paypal, and we do know the issues Malaysians have with Paypal, but that's another story for another day.

Anyway, I browsed through almost all the available products, and unfortunately, most only offer first tier commission. I was looking for at least a second tier but no luck.

So I guess affiliate programmes are currently not viable for me. Too bad!
