This is actually a tough question that I have received from people who are contemplating going into e-trading.
It all depends on what you want to trade in. Some people I know started with only RM250, some with MYR500. That's not much. The risk is small and we can always grow from there.
For myself, I didn't start with too much either, but that didn't stop me from starting. So if you have seed capital, it's time to start. If you want to wait till you have a certain amount of money on hand, well, I am afraid by then, you may have changed your mind about e-trading.
No matter how much our capital is, we need to have the passion and drive for what we do. If we lack that drive, even if we have a million dollars capital, sooner or later we would lose interest and then we will not aim to make a profit from that capital.
