Misuse Of Mailing List ~ Part 2

Today, I guess all members of the eBay Malaysia Group received a mass e-mail from the tai kar jie (big sister).

No, it's not any announcement pertaining to the Group. No, it's not even anything to do with eBay.

She sent that email asking us to join some referral program, where she wants to override us for personal benefit.

This programme has a similar concept as AdAdvantage or CashSurfers or DesktopDollars or SurfJunkie, where what we do is just run an ads toolbar at the top/bottom of the screen. However, they all folded even before we managed to cash out.

Now, I'm not saying that this programme won't earn a member revenue and I'm not saying that it's wrong for members to recruit people under him/herself.

What is wrong here is the misuse of the mailing list. It is really unbecoming of a group leader to do this, all for personal gain.

Previously she did it twice to announce her first and second Private eBay Workshops. This is the second time.

Can you imagine what would happen if each and every member thinks it's all right to send out a mass notice like that through the eBay Malaysia Group mailing list?
