I thought I was only one of the handful of members to receive unsolicited e-mail from Lelong Store members recently asking me to view his/her items.
I have been told it is quite rampant. I think it is a shame that some Lelong Store members think that just because they have a store, they have the right, or are protected by Lelong Admin, to spam other members.
They actually do not have to do this, as Lelong is a huge online marketplace and there are thousands of browsers at any one time. Traffic is only low during public holidays, but that's the internet trend and it's not something to worry about.
So what do I do about such e-mail? I just send them in to Lelong Admin, letting them know that a Lelong Store member has sent out unsolicited e-mail to me. If they can do this to me, they can do it to any other member and I can bet that the same e-mail has landed in many other members' inbox too.
It is a nuisance; really, when we think that we have received an order but realise it's actually not something that we were looking forward too. Pah!
