Lelong.com.my yesterday released an urgent notice to all Sellers on Lelong after they have received a stern warning from a government body about the unreasonably high shipping charges.
This consumer affairs body has received too many complaints from the public and if Sellers do not comply to this new ruling, action will be taken against Lelong and their sellers.
By 1st January 2007, shipping fee cannot exceed RM12 for shipping within Peninsular Malaysia unless it is heavy or bulky item proven with estimated weight.
Affected Sellers are required to amend their auction / sales listing by 31st Dec 2006 or the listings will be taken off.
