The Year In Review

2006 has been a rather quiet year, in terms of lingerie sales, compared to 2005. I only have myself to blame for not having that much time to devote to e-trading. It IS a lot of work, believe me.

I still had to face joybidders and troublemakers. Looks like Malaysians are generally still not that educated about online buying. Most still think it is a game, and not a contract of purchase.

The past week has been challenging, what with going without the internet for twelve hours, and making do with the crappy internet connection in the following days.

An internet connected computer is the most essential work tool for any e-trader. When we were going trough the virtual black out in Asia, I did not even have access to e-mail. There was payment received but I had no idea whom it was from. I was panicky as my reputation was at stake and I did not relish it being spoilt by something that was not my fault.

I still am facing difficult in relisting my items on eBay and sometimes on Lelong, due to internet traffic congestion and I dare not even think about listing the new stocks on other forums that I ply my trade.

Even though sales volume was lower, I still enjoyed myself. I always have a sense of euphoria when I am able to close a previous consignment. The sale of the last few items always seem like a lifetime and I heave a sigh of relief EVERY TIME and say a prayer of thanks.

No matter what, I am still thankful for whatever sales I am able to generate. I feel blessed for the Buyers who believe in me and supported my endeavours, and also for the friends who helped me in one way or another.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
