Throughout my e-trading career, I have received a few invitations to be featured in media.
Once I was invited to be interviewed and the session was to be podcasted, but I declined when the interviewer, a local internet marketing guru, did not agree that I should remain anonymous.
The second time, I was invited to be on Clove, the supplement of The Star newspaper. Again I declined because I have seen their previous feature on ladies who ply their trade on eBay. That was not something I want too.
Today, I received an email to be featured on a local magazine for their Valentine feature. Ironically, this is the company that banned me "for eternity" for trading in their forum. Oh well, surprise, surprise. What a small world.
Anyway, I again turned down. I like to keep a low profile. However, some people may not agree. I was once told by a fellow eBayer, "You must show it, girl!"
