Old School vs. New School Marketing

I think that marketers and advertisers in the current environment are having things easy. Compared to the old days where there is no internet, marketing had to depend on the radio and print media and also the all important word of mouth.

Even so, not everyone could afford a radio or the newspaper on a daily basis, let alone glossy magazines, which were like a luxury to read!

Today, smart advertisers and marketers utilize search engine placement services because almost everyone has access to the internet. Even if they could not afford it at home, there's always the school, office, library or community center.

Everyone I know now does not make a purchase decision without first doing a research on the internet, which is definitely what advertisers and marketers should cash in on.
