This is, I believe, THE ultimate blog directory. It lists blogs by location and topic, BUT with each new post published on our blog, our blog will automatically ping the directory and we will get the extra exposure on the front page, besides the categories selected upon registration.

The good thing about this directory is that we get to suggest a topic as well, instead of placing our blog in a category that doesn't quite fit in. It is really fun to get to meet other bloggers who are in our area or who write similar niche topics and best of all, this blog community is free to join!
