I came across an article entitled 43 Must-Know Tips for Every First-time Home Buyer. As a potential first time home buyer myself, I find the list very comprehensive and relevant to today's home buying and selling market. Honestly, I did not know that there are so many factors to consider in home buying. I had thought that as long as I am able to budget my income and expenses, I would be save but according to the article, there are many hidden aspects to home buying that I should find out before committing to a home.
For one, I need to know who the real estate agent really represents, the Buyer or the Seller and whose rights he protects and who should be responsible for his commission.
I like the points about furnishing the home that will save money in the long term. I always believe in practicality and paying for something that may cost more now but more durable and will not go out of fashion. This article even has insulation information which I find useful.
I believe that I will put this new found knowledge from this article when I am financially strong enough to make my first home purchase.
