The Old Trick

If not mistaken, I mentioned before that one scam tactic by a scammer is to contact a genuine Seller pretending that he is interested to make a purchase and at the same time pretend that he is the Seller of the same item, dupe an unsuspecting Buyer into paying for the item and making payment to the genuine buyer and then pretend that he was the one who made the payment and ask the genuine buyer to deliver the goods to him.

Of course the unsuspecting Buyer will make a hue and cry and since he has the payment particulars of the Genuine Seller, he thinks that he has been scammed by the genuine Seller.

Well, last time the products that were scammed were usually some expensive electronic gadget and mobile phones. Now, scammers are more innovative. They even scam PayPal funds and mobile reloads!

If you are a Seller, o try to verify who made payments to you and send your goods to the correct buyer.
