Pos Malaysia which said they will increase domestic Poslaju tariff beginning 1st March, 2007, has decided to withdraw the increment. So the old rates stay, provided you do not get caught in the new volumetric calculation.
I personally did not read any notice about the new tariff though it was confirmed by a few e-traders I know from various states. And now that they have withdrawn, I too did not read about it officially.
Nevertheless, it is good news that the old rates remain. Luckily I was not charged more when I shipped out my packages in early March.
I hope that if Pos Malaysia thinks it is justified to raise tariff, it will not be sudden or drastic.
