Stand By Your Decision

I recently had the opportunity to purchase a service online. Unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant experience as I was given the runaround by the company.

I feel that this company is very unprofessional. The have been in business for many years now, I presume, since I have heard of their name quite often previously mentioned by a couple of associates.

Anyway, with my transaction, they made a wrong decision which would cause them to lose money. Not a lot, I think it could be USD0.60 only.

The issue here is not the amount but that as a professional service orientated company, it should be customer friendly. Since one of the staff made the wrong decision, the company SHOULD absorb the loss, even if it is USD60.

Even myself as an e-trader has made wrong decisions before. And I, although only a single-person business entity, try my best to absorb the loss, or the narrower profit margin. I can only blame myself and not push the hassle to the customer.

How can one expect returning customers when the first time leaves a sour taste in the mouth? As the saying goes, "Once bitten, twice shy".
