I recently had a winner for an item that I have put on auction. When the auction ended, as usual, I contacted him with payment details. Unfortunately, his mailbox was over quota. I spent the next few days trying and trying to send the mail out to him.
I think that if someone wants to bid on a item, it is his responsibility to make sure that he is contactable. Why bother to bid on and item and then not clear out his mailbox, making it so difficult for people to send an invoice.
Really, the excuse of being without a computer or internet access is no excuse at all. If I know that I have a chance of winning an item and my computer or internet access is down, I would at least try my best to get online from the cyber cafe, for example, and email my Seller. Isn't that the proper way to go about it? But I guess, once again, I can't expect everyone to be like me, can I?
Finally, my message went through but till today, I haven't receive his acknowledgement, let alone payment. I guess this is another deal down the drain.
