The planned outage by TMNet Streamyx at Cyberjaya1 Data Center (formerly known as MyLoca) has been postponed until further notice. Nobody knows what "unforeseen" circumstances have caused this postponement and nobody knows when it will be postponed to.
So Lelong and all local websites hosted at Cyberjaya1 will be business as usual on 14th April, 2007.
What I do not understand is why the entire network has to be offline. Don't they have a back up like a generator?
I recently experienced a six hour downtime for my Celcom network and the phone and data lines were down from midnight to 6am. Imagine the cost this downtime has caused Celcom. Since these outages are planned, they could jolly well direct traffic to a backup line and let us go about our business as usual.
