Joybuyers, that is! Well, I received two orders over the week and sad to say, both failed to make payment within the stipulated time. I did not even chase them for their payment by sending numerous reminders because frankly, if you are local and can't pay within the three-day time frame then you are not serious in buying, so why force?
To think that one of them even negotiated the total buying price and the other suggested self-collection and then back out of the deal in silence is disappointing enough. However, what is more disappointing to encounter joybidders and buyers is these people reflect the maturity of the people towards online shopping.
It is not that they are skeptical about disclosing credit card details since it is not required in making payments to me but rather the fact that most people still think of online auctions an shopping as a joke and that they can come and go as they wish and not a contract to purchase, which is legally binding.
What is more disheartening is that things have not progressed at all since the first months I ventured into ecommerce. Isn't it sad?
