Learning From Apogee Search

Once a long time ago, I wrote a post on eBay jargon. I feel that jargon is the first thing one should learn when one indulges in the business.

Now, I am more into search engine marketing as I have seen what it can do to the Page Rank of my webstore and hence, searches on my store inventory has improved.

I actually did not have to search hard for jargon as they are already listed in the Apogee Search Engine Marketing Glossary found on their website. Although you may already know most of the jargon, it doesn't hurt to run through the extensive list. I did and found that I have not heard of Google Bowling.

It actually means an attempt to sabotage a competitor's site by pointing low level external links to that particular page. Now that I know the meaning, thanks to Apogee Search, the term Google Bowling makes sense.

Although I only have limited time to blog hop, Apogee Search Blog is one that I never miss. It is a blog on search engine marketing, pay per call, paid and natural searches, affiliate marketing and other updates that I need to keep abreast of in my venture into etrading and affiliate marketing.

Each post on the blog makes me thing deeply into the message that it carries and how it impacts my business or if I could implement it into my internet marketing.

Friends question why I am so caught up in internet marketing. They don't know how addictive it could be watching your Page Rank climb and seeing which keywords bring up your website to the top of major search engines.
