As you know already, I participate in eBay Forums rather actively. As far as I could see, quiet a number of board has a thread called the One Million Thread where members of the community try to post a million messages on that particular thread and try to beat the other boards. Right now, the Malaysian thread has slightly over seven thousand messages.
A couple of senior Malaysian eBayers have organized a contest where the person who posts message number 7888 will win eBay merchandise. They did previously held a similar contest where a fellow member won a prize as well.
So right now, the target is 7888. What prize will it be? I don't know but the prize or its value is immaterial because it is the fun of seeing who hits that target.
