Summer is the time for shopping but then while everyone is out in the open and going on vacation, there aren't that many people who are actually online and shopping. This is what I experienced myself. Summer and holidays are slow seasons. Pre-holidays are busy times so I guess Sellers can take a break during the holidays as well.
To entice more people to sell on their marketplace, eBay has slashed their Final Value Fee at more than 14%. This is a considerable sum if you are a high volume seller.
This offer is only good for Auction-style and Fixed price items and only valid during the Summer from 19th June to 5th August, 2007. Those who have submitted their auction early but scheduled to go live from 19th June onwards will also benefit from this offer. Similarly, those who schedule their auction to start after 5th August, 2007 will not qualify for this offer.
The good news is, Canadian eBayers will also be eligible for eBay's Summer sale. The more one sells, the more one saves.

The offer still has one more month to go so check it out now if you haven't. What a perfect opportunity for Sellers to go international.
