Recently, I had the misfortune to meet a couple of crooked people, for want of a better word. I don't even know how to label them. They are not big time scammers or phishers BUT they still want to cheat a little.
You see, there have been a couple of times when my potential buyers inform me that they have already made payment to my account upon confirmation of their order. Of course, being the responsibility Seller, I check my account balance so that I can ship my item out as soon as possible.
However, there was no payment from them and since I figured that they mush have been delayed, I waited and waited, checking and rechecking multiple times in between.
Now, it looks like I have been played and yeah, I hate that feeling because, IF HE has paid for it, the amount will be reflected in my account but it was not and yet here HE was telling me that he had already paid and his insistence made me wonder if there was a glitch with the bank that my account was not updated real time.
Anyway, I think people like these hurt the industry although there may be people who had their payment delayed due to an interbank transaction.
