eBay Education Specialist

A couple of days ago, I noticed that a few Malaysians are now eBay Education Specialists. So I went to check out the programme at the eBay University and it looks like it is now open to Malaysians. The programme is only US$149 but it is only open to eBayers who meet the following criteria:

1. Have been registered with eBay for 90 days or more
2. Be a seller in good standing on eBay with a minimum of 30 feedback
3. At least 15 feedback must be from selling items

I meet them all but I am too lazy to study. However, I think that even if you do not want to "cari makan" with the certificate, the knowledge gained will be invaluable to your own eBay sales.

Anyway, I don't see the point why there should be so many Education Specialists in small Malaysia so I think that opening up the program to us is not that important. It is much more important to open up PayPal to us. Having said that, with so many Education Specialists, the value will drop and if they decide to conduct classes, no longer can they charge over a thousand dollars for a few hours.
