The other day, I wrote about handcrafted mod jewelry that my friend makes and then sell online. Well, I am happy to say that her business is flourishing. When she first started making them, she wasn't sure if there were anyone who would be interested since she has to sell them a little more expensive than costume jewelry from the shopping mall.
I encouraged her and told her that since these are handcrafted and no two pieces will ever be the same, people who are looking for a touch of uniqueness in their jewelry would appreciate the beauty of her creation. True enough that there are buyers for them. Of course, the business started slow but then she's doing well now. If you have a skill like hers, perhaps you would like to try making your own jewelry.
