Can He Be Trusted?

Sometime back, a guy, a fellow seller on eBay and Lelong, offered to provide discounts for Sellers who would like to use international courier from a leading courier company. He has an account with them and has negotiated for group rate. Well, at least he said he did.

He said that those who would like to utilise the service through him would have to pay him and he would contact the courier to pick up the package from the Seller's place.

It has been almost a year and I believe response to him offer has been lukewarm to non-existent. When it comes to sending out packages, I guess Sellers only trust themselves. I don't mean that he is running a scam ring or anything, but Sellers are a cautious bunch, the genuine ones, that is! Would be place our reputation on the hands of a fourth party? [The third party is the company that handles our packages] Sorry, but I don't think so.

Group rates are only workable if we know each other in real life and someone that approaches us online. Besides, why save on the little shipping charge by placing our trust on a total stranger when it is paid for by the Buyer, right?
