Cultivating & Establishing A Brand Name & Image

The other day, I wrote an article on crafting a brand name and image out of my online identity. I have been thinking of doing this all along, just that I do not have the time and capital to implement it. I figured that the time to do so is when I have my own line of lingerie like Victoria's Secret. It's quite funny to recall that when I first started my business, my friends teased me about it, without realizing my future plans in image and identity branding.

This morning, I had the opportunity to check out the website of a brand image and identity research and marketing company, Brand Identity Guru Inc. or better known as BIG at http://www.brandidentityguru.com/. You should check it out too, it is so cute. I guess they really know how to market their own brand.

BIG has provided a test on their site which allows us to test our brand strength which is made up of a set of twelve questions to determine how satisfied our customers are with our products and service, how well our customers recognize our brand product and image and other questions to gauge the relation we have with out customers and our products,

This may sound like a simple quiz but the questions asked are very comprehensive and the results could surprise us if we answer all questions as honestly as possible with an unbiased and objective mind as if we are an outsider looking into the business model and relationship.

I think that all companies who are serious in forming a brand image and identity should engage companies like BIG to make a thorough evaluation and then start cultivating the branding. It takes time to establish a brand image so the sooner it is done, the better it is.
