"Good Sold Are .."

Earlier this evening, I was at a leading shopping mall. They have a notice that says something like, "Good sold are returnable within seven days with receipt bla bla bla..." So I pointed out the error to the lady staff who was standing nearby that it should read GOODS and not GOOD.

And you know what she replied? "My English is not so good."

So I was thinking, what a funny person. Well, it's their MENTALITY, sad to say. If her English isn't great and when the error is pointed out to her, then get it amended, right? Shouldn't she be thankful that there is someone to let her (her company) know of such a mistake that she could correct it? But then I think, BIASALAH!

It is always this mentality that stops me from giving feedback to companies when they so obviously need someone to point out their mistakes for them. If things are not set right then what is the point in letting them know in the first place, right?
