The other day, I parted ways with my web host. They wrote and said that they were saddened with my decision to leave and if there was anything that I was unhappy with and if I could give them feedback so that they could improve their service.
Well, I replied and told them that I am leave so that I could consolidate all my websites and not that the service is bad. I too is reluctant to leave because the staff of a couple of departments have been helpful to me and even replied to my email after office hours to help me sort of some hosting issues.
I was impressed with their service and if I had started hosting with them, I would have hosted all my sites with them, but then that is not possible.
I told all these to the man from Customer Service and he was very happy. I love giving compliments where they are due and it is great that I managed to make someone happy with their job. I think that we must constantly let people know that they did a great job if they did. Pat them on their back, motivate them and I try my best to do so.
Personally, I too would to be complimented IF I did a good job, you know?
