I mentioned before in a previous post that a friend of mine is heavily in debt and yet he refused to eek professional help in managing his finances and debts. I think that it is a pity that he does not acknowledge that he has a problem and I think that he is putting stumbling blocks in his own path to financial health recovery and clearing his debts. There are of course many solutions and some may work for some people, some may work for others. The first step in clearing our debts is to realize that we need help.
A problem with my friend is that he carries too many credit cads which he uses like nobody's business. If he thinks that credit cards are a symbol of wealth then I feel sorry for him. However, I mentioned time and again that he should seek the help of a professional company that offers Debt Consolidation Services. He does need the help of an impartial third party, me thinks but as a friend, I can only advise, right?
In his case, what he needs to do is take the first step towards Credit Card Debt Elimination and one of the solutions is debt consolidation. Instead of managing small debts here and there, it would be better to just clump them all into one debt. This is easier to manage and it may also raise his credit score.
I personally think that he should go all out to clear himself of debts.
