A long time ago, was it only months ago, or has it been more than a year already, I really don't remember unless I do a search of my old posts, I wrote that eBay has taken Perfume Bay to court for using the word BAY.
I was privately rooting for Perfume Bay to win, even though I make a living on eBay, mainly because Perfume Bay is owned by an Asian in the United States and we Asians have to stand tall, right? Cannot let others bully us, right?
It is too bad that apparently, though I did not follow the court case since I hate legal stuff, Perfume Bay now has to get a name change and a domain change this 1st March, 2008.
Do you think that the will have to start rebuilding their brand from scratch or will their currently customers adopt their new image and brand name automatically like a duck to water?
