Capturing The Attention Of Casual Browsers

Retail is a funny business, more so online retail. I am sure that I have mentioned before that in online retail, it is very difficult to capture the attention of the casual browser and try to get them interested enough to stop and have a more detailed look at our product and to read the description. We first only have a photo to do that. I mean, capture a shopper's interest.

I notice that the first thing an online shopper will look at is the photo and then the price. It the price is right, he or she will take a closer look at the photo by enlarging it. And then only will he/she read the description.

That's why it is so important to capture a captivating photo and try to put in all the different elements of your item in one photo. For me, whenever I have the time, I will shoot new photos of the items that did not sell for a considerable amount of time. I know it's a lot of work but it keeps the items fresh.
