In November, 2007, I wrote a post on Fujitsu Esprimo U9200 as my choice of laptop but the only problem was the price. At MYR4,200, that is not an easy price to pay. Recently, the price has dropped a little. A local store has this at MYR3,999 and another store at MYR3,899 though this store has no more stock.
I am thinking if I should get it now or a little later, during PC Fair. I expect the price will go lower a little or there would be plenty of freebies thrown in. I also need to see how much more I would have to pay for other stuff apart from this laptop, like original software, external hard drive, spare battery, pendrive, laptop cooler and skin and warranty.
What do you think? Some people have told me that paying MYR4,000 is on the high side and buying a laptop for this price is not worth it. Most of my friends bought their laptop, without a spare battery, at an average of MYR3,500. Well, that’s only difference of MYR500.
