Most of my male friends spend the better part of their free time tinkering with their cars. They spend more time with the car than with the wife! I used to ask them why they mess with the car even if they are running perfectly and they say that running perfectly is not enough. They want the car to run BETTER than perfect. DUH!
You'd be surprise that guys like these will willingly spend plenty of time and money shopping for car parts and accessories. Did you know that a friend of mine drove to another city just to buy a used Toyota Radiator?
I thought he was pretty silly to do so when all he needed to do was shop at Radiator.com where not only will he be able to buy Toyota radiators, but radiators for most other car makes as well! Too bad he did not consult me first before making the trip!
