Well, it's almost a year since I bought my Nokia E61i. I think that before my warranty expires, I should send it over the to shop for a reformat. I don't know. Maybe there's a new mobile software version or something. Although there is nothing wrong with my phone, I just thought of taking advantage of the free service because after the twelve months is up, I would have to do stuff like these myself or pay them to do it.
The thing is that they work so really slow that they would require the whole day or even two days to get back to me. That's why I am reluctant to send it in and you know me. I need the phone 24/7. Well, not exactly the phone but I need it for my 3G line. I will have to switch to the iPhone for my calls and SMS text messages but that does not solve my 3G problem. Aihhh so sad my iPhone does not support 3G.
I remember the time I sent my Nokia in for checking when I first bought it, the staff did not even bother to call me to let me know that it's done and that I could collect it already. Bah... wasted time only!

To reset and completely erase all data on the device and restore to factory settings type *#7370# on the desk (default lock code is 12345). - Make sure to do a backup before do that. - Even if you do a backup some software has to be reinstalled after restore and your savegames might be lost (snakes etc...) - Some "lost" memory can be freed up with this format as well.
