PayPal Issues Since the 15th May, 2008 Upgrade

I was told that PayPal has once again been facing technical issues which happened after their 15th May, 2008 upgrade. I tell you, if there is a technical issue which you are one of the affected users, PayPal will seem extremely unhelpful. It is as if they are telling by their unwillingness to co-operate or communicate that your problem is your problem. They won't even acknowledge that there is a problem with their site.

While this time I was not affected in a major way, except that payment was late to arrive by three weeks (!), I know that some people were facing double billing, payment stuck and many other issues. Writing in to them or even making calls to the PayPal office were fruitless efforts. It was like talking to a brick wall.

This time, I think it took PayPal almost two to three weeks to resolve some of the pressing technical issues but already many of their customers are pretty frustrated with their attitude. Maybe they are getting to big for their own good that they no longer know how to communicate at a human, personal level.

When using a service like this, it is best not too keep too much cash inside and keep praying that what ever unfortunate incidents will not befall us.

I was totally unaware of any problems with PayPal. Got to go and check my account.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for coming by.

Some merchants and their customers were affected but I think by now, the issue has already been resolved.
