I remember when my friend told me that he is building a large family home, I asked him if he would be opting for a solar powered roof and he said no. He gave me a very technical explanation on why it will not be a viable choice at this point in time. Well, engineers are like that when you talk to them. They have to be technical all the time!
Well, this morning, he told me that he has decided on metal roofing. He said that this would be a better choice as it is more economical, environmentally friendly and safe and maintenance cost is almost zero.
According to my friend, metal roofing MAY sound unappealing but there are many different styles and colors to suit the home owner’s needs.
